Liam's death was an unspeakable tragedy. This is a time of tremendous grief and pain for those who knew and loved him. Liam ought to have had a long life ahead of him. Instead, Bear has lost his father, Geoff and Karen have lost their son, Ruth and Nicola have lost their brother and all of Liam's friends and fans have lost someone they held very dear.
We understand that the investigation into Liam's death was absolutely necessary, and the family recognises the work done by the Argentinian authorities. However, the family accepts the Court of Appeal's decision to drop all charges.
The constant media attention and speculation which has accompanied the process has exacted indescribable, lasting damage on the family, particularly on Liam's son who is trying to process emotions which no seven-year-old should have to experience.
The family has always wished for privacy to grieve and asks that they be given the space and time to do so.
This weekend, at the Brit Awards, Liam was remembered for his phenomenal contribution to British music and for his wider, positive impact on millions of adoring fans the world over. We joined in that celebration of his life and will forever remember the joy that his music brought to the world. Liam, you are so loved and missed."

Liam Payne is set to be honoured with a special tribute at this year’s Brit Awards, the organisers have chosen to honour Liam’s life and career with an emotional video montage which will be played out on big screens inside London’s O2 Arena.

The Brits have created a video package which celebrates how incredible Liam was. It will include clips of him performing on The X Factor with One Direction, as well as some of his biggest and best moments with the band and as a solo artist. It is an incredibly emotional watch but the Brits think what they have created will truly do Liam justice. Doing something to honour Liam has been at the forefront of the organisers’ minds.

There was talk of his bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik recording something but it was decided that it should purely be about Liam. It has been a really emotional time for the lads and it was decided it would just be too much. They have grieved in private and don’t feel the need to do a big, showy tribute for the sake of it. This moment will be all about him, and will allow the stars in the room and fans watching at home to take a few minutes to remember how incredible he was.

Grammys producer Ben Winston, who was a close friend to late singer Liam Payne, personally spoke about the pop star while putting together the ‘Memoriam section’ of the show.

Winston admitted that it was quite heartbreaking picking out Payne’s clips to include in the tribute list among other musicians who passed away last year.

While addressing the Teardrops singer’s tragic demise, the producer also confirmed that there will be no One Direction performance at the Grammys.

"It is a very difficult time. Losing Liam was very, very tough. No doubt about it. But, no, there will be no One Direction performance”, stated Ben.

The producer admitted that the 31-year-old was a the most wonderful and beautiful boy and of course he will be remembered at the big even in the ‘Memoriam’.

He further told The Sun on Sunday’s Bizarre column: “Seeing him up on that screen is not something that I would ever have imagined. It is extra sad for people — not just me who loved Liam, but for many."

Ben has had a nice equation with Liam and One Direction boys as he worked with them on some music videos for songs like You & I, Midnight Memories and Night Changes.

The former band member died tragically on October 16 in Argentina.

Netflix will release a talent show judged by One Direction star Liam Payne later this year, it has confirmed.

Building the Band was one of the last projects Payne worked on before he died at the age of 31 following a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last October.

The singer filmed his role as a judge in the series alongside Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Netflix has not announced a date, but confirmed the release as it revealed a raft of new TV and film content for 2025.

Liams best pal, sole videographer/director @conorleebutler once threw me a life line when we randomly reunited at a fishing lake in lockdown, from then he helped to nurture me in the creative industry and became my right hand man and mentor…he then introduced me to Liam, and those two between them gave me immense belief in my ability as a photographer and opportunities i could have only dreamed of shooting. I will cherish the weekends of us 3 at the house, the top golf, driving range, late night singing in the kitchen, all the insane shoots. Hope you are at peace now mate, I just wish you could have found it on this earth x
