Question for all y'all Otherkins

This is in no way intending to indite anyone (I mean- we can't know what you voted unless you tell us in rb or replies)

I'm just curious. As a lot of Otherkin identity is spiritual, even if it does have that psychological aspect. I KNOW there is something psychologically different about us. Though I know I don't have psychosis (no judgment on otherkin who do). I just don't feel human. Which I think is relatable to a lot of us.

I never felt comfortable calling it a "phantom limb" as I've never had an amputation. Unless some amputee otherkin can come in and tell me about their experiences.

sometimes the world is too big and too loud and too scary for a dog. sometimes you just need to bury yourself under some blankets and curl up with your tail around you and remember that you’re just a creature.

Kinda nonhuman because mental illness, kinda nonhuman because not being properly socialized as a kid, kinda nonhuman because queer, kinda nonhuman because angry at humanity, kinda nonhuman because longing for the unconditional love of a pet and it’s master, and kinda nonhuman because secret sixth thing.

I want nothing more than to be with someone who knows and understands, I want someone to pet me, to let me curl up with them, I want to vocalize, if I'm on all fours it won't matter to them, I want people who understand me or to have real life otherkin friends

I'm such a good dog. I'm gonna get the best grade at being a dog, something that is both possible to achieve and normal to want.
