I've comissioned @eindersein for Leonore goobers and look how adorable and goofy she is! The woman of all time.

I also love the outfit on the second goober I wanna draw a proper piece with her in it AHHHH!

Finally managed to post chapter 4 of Rhythmic Waves!

A little snippet from it:

It didn’t take long until she arrived at the heart of Pelican Town; the slab stone paths leading to many different houses and buildings. Leonore noticed a small park next to the Town Square, the greens of the leaves and the grass glowing in the sunlight. A tall man walked around the small park, seemingly enjoying the warmth of the sun. He wears a long green coat and wore rather simple clothing; his face was decorated with a beard and glasses. His glance did seem to land on the ground from time to time - as if he was searching for something. The tall woman wasn’t exactly sure how to greet him. At this point, she would’ve preferred the classic way of introducing oneself like in school; however, these times are long gone.

Pretty interesting, how a nasty cold turned me from "obsessed with SDV and Elliott" to "feeling neutral about it" within DAYS. I'm not as passionate about anything SDV related as I used to.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy SDV...it's just not the same anymore. Might become even more silent here than before (and the longfic is never gonna be finished anyway, so why even bother). Thinking about deleting the two things I've written and only use the Ao3 account for saving fics.

Will be reblogging and liking stuff here and there, but I won't post anything about my farmer OC Leonore. Might even change most stuff (adding another guy as "romantic counterpart" instead of Elliott - so making her a completely original oc and not really a farmer anymore) but it's just a thought. Feel free to unfollow lmao

Introduction: 1. Her name is Leonore and means something like "Light" or "Shining One". The name is from French and German origin! 4. Her signature accessory are her earrings. She always wears them, she even has some for special occassions! 5. Outside her sailor shirt and farmer outfit, she has a mixture of 90s with Indie and Vintage elements to them. 6. Year 1/ Year 2 would be Joji - MODUS. It describes her inner troubles very well - how her environment pressures her to go a path she'd like to go but the pressure ultimately ties her down; the passion is still there and she wants to break free. After her worries and her troubles died down and she finally learned to embrace her feelings and herself again, her theme song would be by Casper - ALLES WAR SCHÖN UND NICHTS TAT WEH (Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt). 7. 90s Music; Eurodance, Elektro...you name it! Everything that makes her wanting to dance along to it. She has plenty of modern songs too! She'd be a Gaga stan lmao 8. Dancing! She has been dancing since she was a lil' gal and does it more professionally for around 10 years. She also enjoys fishing, cooking, reading scientific articles and romance novels. 9. Depends how she feels physically and mentally. Usually dancing is her go-to thing to relax to. Or she reads; again it depends on the mood what she wants to read. 11. Dry weather with some wind. She doesn't mind rain (even better for fishing) but she always loves the petals and the leaves dancing in the wind. I've answered the relationships questions, so I'll copy them and add them here too! 3. Leonore isn't someone who likes to fight, she avoids the people. She's very suspicious towards Mr Qi. 5. Leonore found herself be enamoured with his romatic ways. At first, she thought his personality was over-the-top, too much; just straight up out of a romance novel. The more she got to know him, the more she realised, how kind and attentive he was to her - something her previous relationship didn't had. He encouraged her to stick to her passion and to be not too shy about it, since he saw what a talented dancer she is. He knew her worth and it took his actions and words to really show it to her. She didn't mind his more dramatic side, she got used to his personality fast. In the end, everything fell into the right places and she loved everything about him. 6. After they've married in Year 3 (and after his first book tour), Leonore continues to take care of the farm with Elliott supporting her; he's also buys with other projects he'd like to publish. When both are finished with their duties of the day, they spent some time together - sometimes they go to Willy to check up on him (and fish together), go on a little date or just relax on the couch with Elliott reading while she looks over his shoulder (usually she falls asleep with Elliott bringing her to bed).

Wanted to go a more dreamy vibe...I guess that worked?

Currently writing more for Rhythmic Waves (finally), so I can finish a chapter...barely made any progress lmao. Might post more stuff, who knows.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

She is a HUGE dancer. Her passion for dancing developed when she was around 6 years old. She has attended many lessons, courses and participated in many dance activities. Has been in a more professional dancing group for over 10 years. Dancing is her life and has helped her through her downs in her life immensely. Leonore is a good ol' fishing gal! She went fishing with her dad since she was a small one and enjoys it ever since. If she is not in the mood, she enjoys reading; specifically romance books and quite some erotic romance novels too and anything scientific. She might've not worked as the profession she studied for, but her fascination in the areas (clinical chemistry and microbiology as well as hematology, hemostaseology and immunohematology) are still very prevalent; she reads journals and/or scientific articles about them.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Dancing of course! On some days, she dances in spaces where no one can see her (or at least she thinks no one can), sometimes in the cottage with music of her choice. There's not one day, where she isn't dancing. She loves to go out for fishing, but sometimes the passion of cooking hits her like a train, and she cooks many dishes! Also, cuddling with her cats or with her bearded dragon is also some quality time for her. And reading her literature!

She hates cleaning the plates and everything after cooking. Never liked the dirty water and the pieces floating in it; it makes her very uncomfortable, but she can manage it. Leonore is not a fan of getting in the mines either, she hurt herself way too many times there (surprisingly not from the monsters). Hates going to Clint for the geodes, whishes she could somehow do it herself.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

There's one memory she's very fond off: one day they travelled to Pelican Town to attend the Fair. It was a very harmonical, peaceful trip with no worries. Just a family enjoying the beauty of Pelican Town. She ran to the beach and was in awe when she saw the sea - and suddenly she saw a woman move her body in the water in the most elegant ways imaginable. It never left her and probably gave her the confidence for her passion for dancing. She never told anyone every single detail, since no one would've believed that she saw a mermaid.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

Definitely the one with the "reunion" with her ex and his new gf. When he came over to introduce his new partner to her, there was already this rage bottled up in her. The longer the meet-up went, the angrier she got. He continued to talk to her like they were made for each other and how "love always finds a way" with Leonore knowing that his desire for fame also played a role. The comments and his behavior triggered something in her - causing her fury to lash out and shatter the glass with her own strength, causing the ex and his gf to flee.

The aftermath left her empty, broken and damaged - like she's undeserving of love.

And that's why she has promised, basically sworn to herself, to never fall in love again.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

I enjoy designing female ocs of all kind, but never designed one who's a dancer and I wanted to change that! I've been experimenting with different things (upbringing, personality etc.) and SDV was a wonderful opportunity! Was getting bored with using my farmer persona and wanted to bring something new.

Fun fact: I made Leonore a farmer, but my intention is also to make her feel like she could be an NPC too! Who knows, she might've been an interesting older bachelorette! And I'd think her match up would be some kind of DJ/Musical artist (maybe I might design him someday)
