It is purely a result of jyp's shitty music choices and nmixx never being in the conversation that ningning fans were able to run away with the top 5th gen vocalist claim bc how can she be number one when theres two and half vocalists who outsing her just in nmixx. Marks album was not bad actually. It was very earnest and i can kinda see what he was going for but reading the lyrics his writing does leave something to be desired. its gives me the feeling that he really wants to get personal but theres not really enough substance in him to look at bc he literally never had the time to develop his inner world with how early he debuted and how busy he is. But raincouver was good #VancouverFirstWin and i liked 1999 the most. His voice is also much less annoying to listen to than taeyong yay

Mark mentions lougheed station and the skytrain in the song... we didnt have the skytrain extension into our suburb when he was living here that extension opened the year he debuted... we all have that shared experience of taking the bus to lougheed station to get on the skytrain to go to vancouver with our train tickets and eventually the orange compass card ohhh they could never make me hate u mark
