ok, for those of you who don't know, jk rowljng donated £70k to an organisation of Scottish women who wanted the legal definition of a woman to be based on biological sex alone in the uk. today they had this ruled for in court.

the legal definition of a woman in the uk is now based purely on biological sex, likely preventing trans people from changing their sex on legal documents. we are still apparently protected from discrimination though.

the worst part of this is that news reports have been treating this as a good thing. jk rowling is painted as an amazing person in school assemblies. after doing not only what she does on twitter, but actively funding the discrimination of trans people.

Actually under the Equality Act (2010) trans people retain their rights

What has been clarified is the legal definition of women

Woman meaning Adult Human Female has been verified as the legal functional definition of woman for all interpretations of legal protections for women including women’s only spaces and measures to achieve gender equality such as women’s representation in politics, business and law

This case was about securing women’s rights and legally clarifying Women as a class with rights and protections under law

No rights were taken from trans people unless you believe it is trans people’s right to undermine and dismantle women’s rights

@medievilknights you can the L with dignity or sulk in the tags……….your choice

This decision was about allowing women to live our lives free from male incursions on not just women as a legal entity women’s entire existence

If we play the oppression olympics

Women will win every time

BTW: terves aren’t following your blog

If another Dianic Wiccan ever feels the need to call me a TERF, for wanting female only spaces, remember how Szusanna Budapest felt on the issue of male participation in Dianic Wiccan rituals.

"This struggle has been going since the Women’s Mysteries first appeared. These individuals selfishly never think about the following: if women allow men to be incorporated into Dianic Mysteries,what will women own on their own? Nothing! Again! Tr*nsies who attack us only care about themselves.

We women need our own culture, our own resourcing, our own traditions… How dare us women not let them in and give away the ONLY spiritual home we have! …

Why are we the ONLY tradition they want? Go Gardnerian! Go Druid! Go Eclectic!

Filled with women, and men. They would fit fine.

But if you claim to be one of us, you have to have sometimes in your life a womb, and ovaries and MOON bleed and not die.

Women are born not made by men on operating tables."

~ Z. Budapest

New meme just dropped

Remember when men with disorders, fetishes, and varying levels of mental instability harassed women so much the Supreme Court had to declare that they're lying and crazy

They literally harassed women so much we had to go to the highest court in the land to divorce males from Women

The funny thing is the fact that, being men, the first reaction was to give them immediately what they wanted: access to female space without any fucking control (just say "but I'm a woman! 👠"), dictionaries having no real definition for woman, associations using disgusting periphrasis instead of "woman". And then they become so disgusting that the Supreme Court had to intervene. It backpedaled so fast. No one could have thought that! Literally no one!

Except women.

But they called us evil bitches, no one believed us. Nobody gave us credit. Because, surprise surprise, we are women! And they aren't, they're men, so OBVIOUSLY they were listened to.

Trans cult actually managed to change the dictionary definition of Woman to suit their agenda

Literally sounds like a an Orwellian dystopian plot but it’s real life

Women have been blocked by official dictionary Twitter accounts because they inquire about the word woman

Poor little trans have enough power to change the dictionary definition to suit their gender identity narrative and still play the victim

Trans paradox: trans women are not women because people automatically believe their claims

Anonymous asked:

> "be kind"

> a literal bigot

make it make sense

"be kind but critical"

You forgot half of it. Sadly, biology doesn't care about our feelings and just because we want something to be true doesn't magically make it that way. You'd do well to also critically question your beliefs a bit. :)

I'm not trying to be funny when I say that that man from Maryland is almost 100% dead. That's why they're trying desperately to sweep this under the rug and act like it can't be helped. An innocent man with an "ethnic" name got profiled for that name, sent to a prison in a foreign country, and was left to die. And they call it an "error."

Mind you, the Supreme Court told them to bring him back and they just said, "No." They are openly and actively rejecting the checks and balances of our government.

Oh, but Zelensky didn't wear a suit to the White House. How terrible. Other than being more concerned with war, I wonder why the fuck not.

Everything about this is horrifying.

  1. that the regime sent an innocent man to an incredibly dangerous prison abroad that is a gulag in everything but name;
  2. that even if he WAS guilty, there was no due process domestically or abroad;
  3. that no one has heard from him since;
  4. that despite the supreme court, one of the two entities meant to check the power of the executive branch, ordering his return, the regime has refused;
  5. that the regime's supporters are fine with this;
  6. and that even if it WAS simply an "error," then such a grievous error is being allowed in the first place (we all know it wasn't just an error...)

I don't know what else to say. This is psychological terrorism against other immigrants, against Hispanic people, against minorities as a whole. It's meant to send a message. The cruelty is the point.

Let's call it what it is. Murder. If Brian Thompson is a murderer, so is everyone involved in this.

Let’s not forget there was also a Supreme Court order specifically stating he wasn’t to be sent back to El Salvador. They sent him anyway. There is no way Kilmar Ábrego Garcia isn’t dead.

sometimes people make me feel as if a little kindness is too much to ask for. i wish i wasn't so harsh to myself for making mistakes and i wish i was less ashamed for not being perfect. so many past traumas that I haven't yet managed to let go of & that keep resurfacing when trying to build new connections. sometimes I think I'm too sensitive for this world. today is one of those days.

i just want to feel safe. for once. I just want a friend.

I've noticed more and more in public bathrooms that people skip the handwash and just take a squirt of hand sanitizer from wall dispensers on the way out. hand sanitizer is NOT effective against most things that come out of your ass. i cannot stress this enough. i'm begging y'all. please. please please please please please use the soap.

i'm out here immunosupressed fighting for my life to not get naturally selected while people around me touch a public toilet handles and walk back to their tables to immediately eat a burger

Thank you for bringing this up! Many hand sanitizers and household cleaners proudly claim to "Kill 99.99% of germs."

In fact, this does not mean that the product kills 99.99% of all germs known to exist.

It means that, during product testing in a controlled environment, the product killed 99.99% of the germs it was specifically tested against. As you might imagine, Lysol isn't testing its kitchen disinfectant spray against millions and millions of unique microbes.

In the U.S., labeling laws usually require that companies actually identify somewhere else on the label which germs are being tested and killed. Next time you see a "kills 99.99% of germs" label, check out the rest of the label, and you'll find the small print which specifies that it kills 99.9% of one type of flu, or Covid, or E. Coli, etc. This is why many labels even include an asterisk, i.e.: "Kills 99.99% of Germs!*" Look for the companion asterisk elsewhere on the label for more info.

There are different kinds of germs, like Viruses; Bacteria, Fungi, and Protozoans.

The way we kill these germs to prevent infections varies based on the germs' structure. Essentially, we need different "weapons" (cleaning methods) to fight different microbes. A product that kills Flu Viruses and E. Coli can't necessarily destroy Norovirus or Giardia.

No product is effective against every type of germ, even common germs which regularly cause illness in households and communities.

Hand washing is effective against more germs, not only because it can destroy germs which hand sanitizer cannot, but because it simply washes them off your hands.

Why is it that a body with breasts cannot be "genderless"?

Do you think that the male body is the default and therefore the genderless one?

Why is the flat chest more desirable to you?

What associations do you have with women with large breasts?

What emotions come up when you see the phrase "large breasts"?

When was the last time you saw a woman with large breasts hold great power and/or be respected?

If you're a person with large breasts who feels they are dehumanised, disrespected and sexualised, do you hate your breasts?

Do you wish you didn't have them?

Is it hard to know that you should blame other people?

Does it feel wrong to blame other people?

It is not your body that is wrong, the disconnect you feel is between the way your body is perceived and the way you know you should be treated.

This is one way that misogyny causes gender dysphoria.

I was watching a youtube video of a trial in the US: a young man who killed his father because he'd been raping him ever since he was 6. He got sentenced to life in prison because either the jury didn't believe him or they didn't believe he'd acted in self defence, whatever. I watched him cry as he was being questioned by the lawyers about what he'd endured and I genuinely felt bad for him. I believed him and was moved by his pain. I checked the comments and everybody was being supportive and saying he should be freed, but there were also dozens of comments with thousands of upvotes saying: "if he'd been a girl he would be free right now", "people never believe men", "this is why men don't come forward" and "if he was a girl it would be a whole different story." Men and women, repeating the same thing over and over again, like some rehearsed performance: women are believed more than men and they get a free pass for murder. Basically, that the justice system favours women and hastily punishes those accused of rape. Which is a blatant lie. So why do people believe it? Why do they feel the need to say it every time a man is abused? My empathy for the guy slowly vanished as I remembered that a man would never feel the same way about a woman and that men literally use other men's pain to oppress women further. There's an underlying message with it too: that men rape women so frequently that everyone believes it, which is a privilege. Female privilege. Women and girls are privileged for being assaulted so frequently that it can't be denied. And yet it is.

I looked at the corner of my youtube screen and saw the next recommended video: "Camille Vasquez's Cross of Amber Heard." In the video, Amber Heard cries much like the man I was watching just before, about being raped. The top comments all call her a liar, an evil psychopath, a bad actress and a woman who tried to ruin a man's life with false rape accusations. They're all laughing at her. You really can't make this shit up.

reflecting on how every single woman in healthcare is told to be prepared for elderly male patients to “misunderstand boundaries” or “be confused on what is appropriate” or “not in his right mind” regarding literal sexual assault/harassment.

wow what a massive coincidence that the elderly women with dementia/cognitive impairments, etc never assault female healthcare workers.

wow what a huge coincidence that male healthcare workers are much less likely to be assaulted or be the victim in inappropriate patient situations.

wow what a coincidence that elderly men are granted exemptions for their disgusting behaviour due to their age/conditions when these behaviours simply do not even exist with elderly women.

As a black woman the more radleaning I go the more I realise how much leftist men and libfems hide their misogyny by putting "cis white" in front of woman.

I've gotta say, watching the creepiest dudes from my high school become TIMs is dystopian as fuck.

"Trans women are women" that is literally Brad from English. He's been fetishizing lesbians and frying his brain cells with anime porn since he got access to the internet.

happy autism awareness day to all the girls who had “ friends” growing up who were actually bullying them . to the girls who always sat alone in the grass and wondered why nobody wanted to talk . to the girls who spoke to animals like they were listening . to the girls who created a little world in their room . to the girls who always felt ashamed for how deeply they love things and how passionately they enjoyed media . to the girls who covered their ears when they were overwhelmed by everything . to the girls who carrying a special thing around to feel safe . to the girls who never understood what they did wrong to feel so lonely . to the girls who were diagnosed later in life because they weren’t little boys who liked trains. you are so special and beautiful and you’re not worse for it, you love deeply and that is so wonderful please never try to push that down . I LOVE YOU !!!!!

i know we are all critical of buccal fat removal and that many women get very weirdly defensive abt it and try to leverage that critics of it don’t know firsthand and i just want to offer up that i had buccal fat removal when i was 24 (? i cant even remember now—i was in a bad place after an abusive relationship and was getting invasive cosmetic surgeries done left and right) so i CAN actually tell you with firsthand experience to NOT do it. it IS as bad as everyone is telling you. it IS as ruinous as we are saying. it DOES butcher your face irreparably. so pls don’t come at me being like “you have no idea how would you even know” cuz lmao i literally did it. i fell for the lie. i cannot reverse it, i cannot fix it. i regret it every day of my life. i will never have my face back. don’t fall for the lie cuz it IS a lie.

i had thee absolute top surgeon in my state and it was still a lie. i did everything he said and my recovery was “perfect” and it was still a lie.

it’s not “haters” who are “jealous” of you saying you’re scheduling your buccal fat removal surgery. it’s a not-insignificant number of women like me who fell for that shit and yknow what, now i AM jealous of you, ironically, bc you haven’t yet gone through with it. cuz you still have your own wonderful natural face and you have the option to decide not to be stupid and jeopardize it. you think you know now but you unfortunately don’t until it happens, until your face begins to cave in on itself, until you’re told that you now “need” xyz procedures to support the cheeks you just sucked out etc etc it never ends it never fucking ends you will never be satisfied and you can’t ever undo it

i have this unfortunate insider knowledge of at least 4 different major invasive cosmetic procedures and i regret every single one. they ruined my life in every conceivable way (even though i was considered a major success patient) and one surgery literally almost killed me. i thought i was so damn smart and resilient until i realized i can’t ever go back.

the “doing it for myself” speech stops mattering real fuckin quick when you’re alone in your room looking in your mirror wondering how anyone could’ve let you do this. i am not an outlier. i am a common statistic. you are not immune. don’t let them have your face.
