I don't think I've ever seen anything that more perfectly replicates how psychosis feels. The latching onto/ascribing meaning to little details. The endless "searching..." as your brain tries to fit every real-life stimulus into its narrative of what's REALLY going on. The background preoccupation with real, ongoing emotional difficulty...

People often imagine psychotic delusions as being entirely dependent on hallucination, people seeing and talking to fully fleshed out, convincing looking characters. But delusion doesn't require hallucination at all. Utterly insane prices. Needing to buy a new (and more expensive!) SD card because the old one is not compatible. Paywalling the ability to have your games ported to the Switch 2, on a per-game basis. Having to pay extra for physical games, with some physical games NOT EVEN BEING ON THE CART (with the game being used as a license check, and then needing to be downloaded)...

And on top of all of that, all UI is the exact fucking same, still no eShop music, and complete silence on themes.

Nintendo more or less ported an entire fucking console. I hate to be negative but what a letdown.

Nintendo Switch 2 game upgrades seem like they will cost $10 for just ports (seen with BOTW), and $20 for ports with bigger, DLC-esque upgrades (seen with Kirby).
