Intro Post

Hi, I’m Lane!

This is exclusively a fandom blog, approximately 60% Star Trek and 40% other fandoms. I love sci-fi and fantasy, in-depth media analysis, characters with complicated relationships to their own identities, and femslash ships. I always enjoy discussing fandom topics, so feel free to send me a message if you want to talk regardless of whether we’re mutuals!

Fandoms I post regularly:

  • Star Trek (mostly Voyager and DS9, sometimes TNG, Discovery, TOS, Enterprise + other shows occasionally)
  • Star Wars (mostly Rebels, TCW, Prequels, Originals, Rogue One, Andor + occasional other content)
  • Doctor Who (most frequently Thirteen’s era, but also most other eras of NuWho)

Other fandoms: The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (movies), Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, The Murderbot Diaries, Studio Ghibli

While I don’t post political content here unless it’s related to fandom, I will absolutely block TERFs and other bigots on sight.

Favorite Captains Tournament: Week Seven!!!

Sadly, this week we must say goodbye to Capt Michael Burnham of the USS Discovery. She held on as the last captain of nutrek, even beating one of the older guard. But this week, she couldn't quite catch Kirk or Picard. Wish you had gone farther, Michael!

This week, the question is will we lose Kirk or Picard??? Will they tie again? Will another captain's fans surprise us? Vote and watch to see!

I've been so excited just thinking about S2.

Maybe this time—imagining all sorts of things about Andor I haven’t seen yet—is actually the happiest part.

Once it’s over, I’m sure I’ll be feeling some terrible post-Andor blues.
