@luckhound

i carry a coffin for a heart; everything i love must be buried.

i haven’t watched or read demon slayer in ages but i’m still obsessed with this daki x reader concept i had where reader stumbles onto daki killing one of her ‘clients’ and, before she can kill you too to hide what she’s done, you immediately help her cover the murder up. no questions asked.

the entire time you’re hiding the body daki is seconds away from doing away with the charade and killing you, but for some reason, she doesn’t.

Your latest Elias fanfic was soo good, I’m glad you finished it cause I love it!! I’m not too far into MAG, but I do know some spoilers and I think Elias is some eldritch being that killed the original Elias and eventually dies, so imagine reader killing him. The angst aahh, but also, from what I heard, doesn’t Jon and Martin help to sort of reset the world, which brings in the Magnus Protocols? If so, I can imagine if real Elias and reader are still around in this new world, then them getting together and having a good love story lol

aaa i'm so glad you enjoyed it! it was a labour of love... emphasis on the labour i guess 💀

i haven't finished the pod myself, so i know a bunch of spoilers too but have been trying not to look into the details lmao. reader would defo have a terrible time in the future, but their reaction to elias and what's up with him is juicy to consider.

elias is um. well. complicated. i honestly can't picture a happy ending with him 😭 maybe if he had been just a mediocre boss, he and reader could've lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship, but even that'd inevitably be messy. that's more fun though imo!

pairing elias/reader

summary You are approached by Elias in the Institute’s break room, after the confrontation in his office. It does not go well.

word count 3.9k

tags gender neutral reader, elias being elias, toxic dynamic, mind games galore

note: can you tell i got to #106 and felt a certain way about it? after reading all 3k words of this, probably. the sloppiest of kisses to sierra for her suggestions and encouragement + liya for keeping me sane while i agonized over this fic.

“Damn, look at the time. I should go, my break’s nearly over,” Hannah informs you, waving as she heads out. “See you! Don’t be a stranger!”

You wave back anemically, hoping your expression resembles more of a grin than a grimace. With the last straggler gone, you are finally alone in the break room of the Magnus Institute, London. The pressure that had settled over you dissipates.

You had never been a social butterfly to begin with, but neither had you been a total recluse. Yet nowadays, you vastly prefer solitude over interacting with the Institute staff. Their gripes and concerns are so far removed from your own that it’s almost grating. You have to stop yourself from scowling the entire time you’re around them.

You feel a little guilty for being such a curmudgeon, but they’re so... chipper. Oblivious.

Ignorant.

Like you once were.
