A Lackadaisy theory on Why Mordecai didn’t shoot Ivy and how close Mordecai and Ivy were

As shown in an Lackadaisy short Ivy and Mordecai knew each other since before Mordecai left Lackadaisy and when Ivy's father was still in Lackadaisy

so the question is how close were they? and why didn’t Mordecai shoot Ivy?

first I’m going to talk about some reasons on why Mordecai didn’t shoot Ivy

as shown in the pilot of Lackadaisy Mordecai couldn’t shoot Ivy and this lead to some people believing it’s because he knew her since she was a kid

even though that could be a reason I don’t think it’s the entire reason not to shoot her so here are some other reasons I made for why he didn’t shoot her

Reason 1: because she’s Atlas’s goddaughter and he respects Atlas

Reason 2: Ivy reminds him of his sisters

Reason 3: because of Viktor and how close Viktor and Ivy are

those are some of my reasons on why he didn’t shoot her

but there’s still a question and that question is on how close were they?

I believe they were partially close but not as close as Viktor and Ivy were/are as shown in the Nightmare page of Lackadaisy it shows both Mordecai and Viktor not just Viktor because of how close her and Viktor are, even though this could be just the remembrance of the past when she met them as a child

though it could also be that they both looked after her when her father was busy with work

so my theory is that they were somewhat close but not as close like Viktor and Ivy are

now here’s some similarities between Lila and the scratched out dude from the BBQ photo

I think it’s Lila’s dad because she never mentioned him or has a photo of him anywhere so I think she was a bad relationship with her father
