Etiquette classes for Alphas.
Eddie gets into petty crime but he’s like, 20. So the judge decides that he’s just a young Alpha who clearly needs help and he gets a slap on the wrist. Even Eddie is shocked by the outcome.

It’s not Wednesday, but I’m finally making progress on the next chapter of Gallows Tree, so I am giddily sharing a snippet!
"It is not a sin to love those who have shown you love, Steve."
Big hazel eyes look up at him at that, still shiny with tears and rimmed with red. "Eddie," Steve gasps, and Eddie can smell the desperation in his scent.
Steve moves first, hands covering the sides of Eddie's face, and their nose crash together. It is easier just to breathe, to share air for a long moment, until the need is too great. Eddie tilts his head, brings his lips to Steve's, and kisses him solidly. Steve kisses back, parting his lips to taste, wanting all that his alpha can give him here, out in the open, in front of the cottage. Again, Eddie wants to take Steve to bed, to lavish him with sweet kisses and lay his body down in comfort, but now Eddie wishes to join him and join their bodies.
