One Step At A Time

My fic for the 1DBigBang Round 8 is finally here! Ahhh! @onedirectionbigbang

Thank you to @lebesyej for the amazing art for the fic! Give her some love for her great work!

It's Louis's last year at university and it's all gone to shit before the semester has even begun. Instead of sharing a flat with Liam and Zayn, like he was promised, he now has to share with his acquaintance, Niall, and a random first year student.

The problem is that Louis has a secret he'd rather not share with his flatmates, but if he doesn't want to be homeless in January, it's crucial that he tells them. It would have been a lot easier if Harry weren't so cute and clearly interested in Louis.

A little fic where Louis tries his best to keep his heart guarded, but Harry breaks down all the walls. And as Harry struggles more and more, Louis can't help but want to give Harry everything.

I Really Like Your Styles: The Holiday Advent-ure

Louis isn't much for frills, and the coffee shop he co-owns with his best friend Liam is evidence of that. Yes, it's got a decent sized, well-kept industrial kitchen, but Louis insists that people come to coffee shops for coffee, not mediocre pastry and plastic wrapped cookies. When Liam's campaign for serving treats turns into watching a few baking accounts on whichever popular app he's on now, there's one that really gets on Louis' nerves: "I Like Your Styles." With his chipper demeanor and over the top descriptions of the food he makes, Louis is sure that the (unfortunately cute) baker is full of it. Nothing that adorable could possibly be worth the hype.

It doesn't actually take much for him to eat his words...and some quality baked goods, while he's at it.

Or, Harry and Louis haven’t spoken since the band broke up when a dangerous combination of Niall Horan, tequila, and an ordained Elvis impersonator means that the two of them have to embark on their biggest publicity stunt to date - together.

“I’m blind,” Harry eventually said, trying his best to keep himself from crying.

Liam was silent for a few moments, before responding, “That’s not exactly news, H. You were blind when I met you a year and a half ago. Have you been in denial this whole time or something?”

“No, Liam,” Harry cut in. “This is different. I’m not legally blind like I used to say. It’s not just my night vision. The tunnel from my tunnel vision has closed. I’m fucking blind! I moved halfway around the world in the hope of finding my soulmate and it’s obviously not happening now. Not even a soulmate is going to want to put up with a blind alpha.“
