˚ ༘♡ a masked guard, silent and imposing, raised a gloved hand, motioning for you and sang-woo to follow. the pair fell into step, your footsteps echoing hollowly against the cold, sterile floor. you lagged slightly behind, your movements hesitant. your pallid fingers fidgeted with the edge of your sleeve, and your dark eyes drifted nervously to the brick walls and the masked figures around you. the oppressive silence pressed down on your chest that you couldn’t shake.

˚ ༘♡ “don’t worry,” sang-woo said softly, turning his head to glance at you. his voice was low, a low murmur meant to comfort you, though even he couldn’t completely mask the tension beneath. “we’ll win these games. we’ll get out of here, okay?” his hand reached out, resting lightly on your shoulder as he pulled you closer, his grip gentle as to soothe you. “when it’s all over, we’ll go to that restaurant you like. you know, the one i used to take you to in downtown ansan.”
