Sakura's followers linked her with any member of the Uchiha clan simply to show that she attracted handsome boys, and even more so if they belonged to a highly revered and talented clan. Let's remember that the Uchiha clan highly values their lineage, as do the Hyuga. I doubt very much that Sakura had a small place within any prestigious clan. Minato does, since he stood out as a shinobi because of his own talents and abilities (sorry, I came across a blog where they said that Sakura and Minato are similar, maybe only in origins).

Thanks to the Sakura chapter appearances in the Naruto manga ask, decided to check the post regarding the panel appearances of Bleach characters and someone actually counted all the panel appearances of Ichigo, Orihime and Rukia. Ichigo, being the MC, has the most with 405, while Orihime and Rukia followed with 254 and 216. I'm mentioning this since delusional Ichirukis and Rukia stans cannot debate this one out where their princess, while still important in the story, was eventually surpassed in panel appearances by the actual heroine of the story, Orihime (heroine in manga and anime primarily refers to the romantic love interest of the lead male character). Rukia was important for the first two arcs but Orihime eventually surpassed her in appearances, particularly in the Fullbring Arc. This is not to dunk on Rukia but to emphasize on how Kubo gave Orihime's appearances in the story more strength and how dismissing it by saying she's not relevant wouldn't work due to the sheer number of her panel appearances, many of which were critical to the story.
In terms of impact to the story, Sakura really pales in comparison with Hinata. The latter, while have lesser chapter appearances than the former, have more impactful scenes in the story. To be honest, remove Sakura from the story, her missing wouldn't make a dent to the story. However, remove characters like Lucy, Orihime, Hinata and Nami from the story of their respective IPs, their impact will be felt. I really avoid dunking on Sakura as much as possible but unless her stans still put her on a pedestal, her character will be criticized all the time. Same goes for Sasuke.

I just found out that Sakura only appeared in 332 chapters (versus 368 chapters) out of 700 chapters. I find this pretty comical. Sakura is considered the MFC, and yet she has such a small number of appearances (considering that this includes chapters where she doesn't even say anything). Compared to female characters in other shonen of that period like Fairy Tail or Inuyasha, this is just ridiculous. I think that the same Shikamaru will have about the same number of appearances, and he is a supporting character, but at the same time he is much more important to the plot than Sakura.
And they have the nerve to compare her with Lucy or Nami

I stumbled onto the crocheting side of Tiktok a couple hours ago and after going through so many wonderful creations a sudden thought popped into my mind.
