See that picture above? That’s a close up of my great grandmother’s immigration papers when she first came to the US back in the early 20th century. But my great grandma’s information isn’t the important part here. The important part is that line in the middle there about how they arrived in the country.

And how ‘stowaway’ is a legitimate, valid option to select.

So yeah. They absolutely just showed up, and that part of immigration history needs to be talked about a lot more.

I know what’s in your heart Barbara Gordon, and it’s not business casual.

Controversial opinion, but I love her both. Let her be comfortable in her sweaters and pajama pants. Let her dress up because she wants to feel pretty, she doesn’t have to have a reason to wear anything fun. Same goes for the way she styles her hair.

Let her be a spectrum of a character and let her cloths and hair vary as needed. It’s one of the many ways people express themselves.

Barbara is not a crutch for storylines, she’s a complex story you have to sit down and study for yourself. She’s not just a romantic interest, she’s everything and more.
