The last time they play wrestled they were early teens - both gangly and awkward and skinny.
But then James spent a few years training for rugby like crazy and Sirius spent those years smoking and getting drunk and high and dancing on the edge of self-destruction before and after running away from home.
Sirius always thinks of them as basically the same physically. Sure, James is fit and an athlete and has a bit of muscle, but Sirius is taller, which has to count for something.
But then when they end up wrestling in their late teens for some silly, stupid reason, and James pins him to the ground, Sirius realizes some things. many things. too many things.
like how James is A Lot stronger than he is. Legs holding him down. Hard grip on his wrist pinning it above his head. and like how Sirius really, really likes it.
