BE MINE
β˜†γ€‚οΌ

just learned that a mutual of mine is pro israel (they’re now blocked) so i wanted to take the time to say that if you believe what’s happening in palestine is not a genocide than you are not welcome here. unfollow me block me whatever i don’t want you interacting with me at all

hi. palestinian here.

i’m reblogging this to all my blogs just as a reminder that all anti-palestinians, islamophobes, pro-zionist, pro-israeli government, and anti-semites are not welcome on this blog.

what is happening in palestine is it’s not just a genocide. it’s a massacre familiar to my people because it is a product of 80+ years of oppression. it is not a thousand year conflict, and calling it that makes it seem impossible to fix or work to end.

we can end this. sign petitions. come to protests. make it clear to the us government that we do not condemn funding apartheid and eradication.

that’s all. thank you.

cant stop listening to my 16 min playlist titled lesbian sex

one of the journalists i always saw on my timeline has been killed by an israeli air strikeβ€”Refaat Alareer

this was a poem he wrote a month ago:

and these are some of his latest tweets. this is the situation he was living in. this the situation so many people with him were living in.

how much longer are we going to have to wait until the world powers decide to do something?

β€œThere is no way out of Gaza. What should we do... drown? Commit mass suicide? Is this what Israel wants? And we're not going to do that.. I am an academic, Probably the toughest thing I have at home is an Expo Marker. But if the Israelis invade us, If they barge at us, open door to door to massacre us, I am going to use that Marker, Throw it at the Israeli soldiers, even if that is the last thing that I will be able to do. And this is the feeling of everybody in Palestine. We are helpless and we have nothing to lose"

this is refaat. this is palestine.

this is the attitude of these fearless martyrs. their resilience. their spirit. their honour. refaat is gone but his spirit and the legacy of his resistance remains. a legacy we must continue.

please keep contacting your representatives. keep raising your voice. keep protesting. keep boycotting. keep showing the world that the palestinians are not alone. this is the very last tweet on refaat’s profile:

hold your leaders accountable. mobilise. protest. make sure they listen. the power is with you. nethanyahu would not have been so worried about the public support if it wasn’t. israel would not be trying so hard to spread false news and propaganda if it wasn’t.

the power is always with the people. we elect these politicians. we have the power to take them down. that is what democracy is. so exercise your right and PLEASE fight against injustice. no matter how long it takes. look at what refaat saidβ€”we are not allowed to give up when the palestinians have not given up. when people like refaat are willing to fight back with even a marker. we cannot give up. we cannot say we β€œfailed them”. we have no space to do so. we must keep going.

and please…. as per his wishβ€”let refaat, and many others like him, be a symbol of hope. scream their stories in every corner of this earth. don’t let any person walking this earth not know who the palestinians are and what they fight for.

and please pray for them.

its been rly heartening to see big tumblr accounts with a specific theme (or bit) take a moment to raise awareness for palestine. in many ways being vocally pro-palestine is far, far more important than donations right now. palestinians have said so too. if it weren't it wouldn't be so risky for people to speak out. its a war on human life but it's also a war on the very memory, culture and history of the palestinian people. we can help them fight the second one just by posting. solidarity matters more than anything in this moment.

Everything here.

Donating is important, but currently it does nothing for Gaza. Nothing whatsoever. It is under such an extreme blockade that nothing will enter Gaza until Israel is finished with it, at which point it will already be too late.

If you want to help - amplify Palestinian voices. CHALLENGE Zionism & Zionist rhetoric everywhere you see it. The risks Palestinians take just sharing messages from their families are bigger than I believe most people know. The bare minimum we as Palestinians ask is that you use your voice wherever you can, & support those doing the same.

hi all,

please click this link whenever you can every twenty-four hours to send donations to palestine. i know that i feel like there’s so little i can do, and i imagine many of you feel the same way, but this is something small that with enough people can really help.

if you can, please reblog or spread the link to as many people as you can.

and if you disagree with my stance, please block me quietly and go about your day. i am not going to entertain arguments about this.

promise to be good (i know you can't keep it)
