What would it take for your character to become antagonistic and/or turn over to The Dark Side™ (whatever that would mean in your story)

OK SO. i guess i should start with how i even got the idea, it's not like they even meet in canon right??? so me and my bestie @written-in-the-stars135 were chatting about wat because i had recently finished it, and they sent me a drawing of two people doing the ugly kiss meme. having just been discussing ulaam, my brain instantly went to ulaam and melaan??? (turns out who i mistook for ulaam was their and @the-selfinsert's awesome undertale au oc jackpot go check it all out!!) but then i had the idea to draw them together..... so i did.

now, dear reader, whenever i draw someone or something, i gain love for it. like, i'll be drawing this person i don't really know and i'll start thinking about how beautiful they are, how nice they look and how i wanna get to know them!!

the whole time i was drawing melaan and ulaam, my mind started wandering as to how perfect of a pairing it actually is, and how they may know each other, them both being kandra and probably similar generation?? we know melaan is a seventh generation kandra but we don't know much about ulaam and his relationship with other kandra/how old he is and such.

in holly's words, "also they probably DID date at some point, just because they're immortal and bored"

so like. timeline wise, i saw somewhere tress took place around 300 years after the lost metal (or at least after era 2 and maybe era 3) and we know that because of the ending of wind and truth, the stormlight archives line up with era 2 of mistborn (because hoid is signing up to be wax's driver) so we know ulaam was around during them, still on scadrial most likely and maybe not a worldhopper yet?? SO LIKE HE WOUlD PROBABLY KNOW MELAAN RIGHT

okokok so like back when i first had this idea i came up with this extremely wacky theory that is TOTALLY not a stretch. keep in mind i was delusional trying to figure out how this all worked out.

yk how near the end of the wax and wayne books melaan goes off on a spaceship to explore the cosmere and help harmony and such??? she becomes a worldhopper kandra! and ulaam is a worldhopper kandra!

what if melaan goes to the elantris planet.... got an elantrian body and the elantris magic like hoid?? flies her spaceship to lumar (which was described as a giant metal spaceship ;) )

and she becomes the sorceress due to idk, trauma making her become evil???

it does mention that ulaam has.... some past history with the sorceress.... 😏😏😏

and NO this is NOT making huge stretches......

but now after pondering on this since like january, what if ulaam and melaan just. went on the spaceship together in the first place???? maybe they were both harmony's agents or something??

ANYWAYS this post has been long but yeah

now what would their relationship be??? at first I thought it would be a cursed ship, but as i drew them i really started to like the idea!! maybe it's because i can make even the freaky be cute....

but i think they would be total freaks.... i mean, they're kandra lol. think about how freaky things between wayne and melaan were, to the point where wayne didn't even notice the full on battle going on over his head? yeah, that was just a human and a kandra... imagine two kandra together.

but i feel like (aside from being super freaky and overly affectionate in public) they would actually be a good paring... i think they would care about each other a lot and love and support each other yk? maybe that is just me being delusional about them though <3
