Star Trek: The Animated Series - Daily Spock
This week's Star Trek: The Animated Series episode is the season 1 finale, 'The Jihad.' It was a hoot.

Episode synopsis: A team comprising various experts (Kirk and Spock among them) must recover an artifact known as the Soul of the Skorr. The theft must be kept secret or a galactic holy war could break out.
They accomplish the mission and the galaxy is saved again. All in a day's work.

From Star Trek: The Original series, screen caps from season 1's 'The Menagerie, Pt2,' the only 2 part episode in STTOS run. The episode opens with Kirk providing a recap from the previous episode, the only recap in #STTOS history.
The photo above is how the 'The Menagerie, Pt 1," ended, with Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) in despair over Spock's future.
Contrasted to this photo, the last scene of 'The Menagerie, Pt 2,' where Spock has been cleared of all charges, and a possible hopeful future for the injured Captain Pike has been provided. Captain Kirk (William Shatner) is overjoyed.
