in the palm of her hand, or something like that
otsu from vagabond
i am fascinated by how inoue draws her; with a lot of anime/manga you have to be told how beautiful a character is just because they all look the same, due to art style, but inoue's style is so unique and precise that it's hard not to see how classically beautiful she's meant to be
phoenix wright sketches
og trilogy phoenix has always fascinated me; story-wise he plays the role of the optimistic, do-gooder hero, and if you only saw fan media you'd think that even more (especially since he's always put in contrast with edgeworth) but in the trilogy he's often irritated, rude, and pretty selfish. post-timeskip phoenix provided the perfect opportunity to explore that side of him more but alas
i almost wish i had never read le guin because her prose has ruined every other book for me
