Political side blog with the goal of education.

Fuck it -- God bless the rural queers. God bless every dyke, faggot and tranny who lives in a town with less than 10k. God bless every queer living in red towns in red counties, in blue states or red states alike. God bless every queer who's also a redneck, who knows how to hunt and fish. God bless every queer living in a town where every other house is condemned. Where half the storefronts are empty.

God bless rural queers.

work.

The Epitaph reads:

Gentle stranger, drop a tear, The C.S.A. lies buried here: In youth it lived and prosper'd well, But like Lucifer it fell; Its body here, its soul in -- well Even if I knew I wouldn't tell. Rest C.S.A. from every strife, Your death is better than your life: And this one shall grace your grave- Your death gave freedom to the slave.

Idgaf if you don't want to write essays for school. I don't care if you don't want to write corporate emails yourself. I don't care if you can't draw well, I don't care if you can't write well, I don't care if you just really really want to talk to your favorite fictional character but don't want to RP with a real person because you have social anxiety or whatever

If you're still regularly using generative ai, chatgpt or midjourney or character.ai or literally whatever the fuck, im personally blaming you when my utility prices start going up.

Why would utility prices go up because of ai?

(I am not defending the usage of generative AI/ChatGPT/Character.ai etc etc i am very much against it - I am just curious as to the correlation between using it and utility price surge please don't come at me this is a genuine question)

Happy to help.

ChatGPT uses so much energy that the US is literally reversing course on coal and gas usage to make up for it. In Santa Clara, for example, data centers used 60% of the ENTIRE CITY'S electricity.

ChatGPT uses 1-3 bottles of water for cooling for every query you put into it. This is FRESH WATER, which is evaporated and eventually mostly returns to the ocean, effectively removing a lot of it from our already dwindling fresh water supply on the planet. It also consumes 17 THOUSAND TIMES more electricity than the average American home.

More AI use = more data centers = power drain on local cities = gas, electricity, and water utility prices rise because all of our resources are being funneled into a machine that makes garbage

Fucking wild to be teaching about Rosa Parks at the same time as a trans woman in Florida does an act of civil disobedience to use a women's restroom in the state capitol

As far as I know, she is the first woman arrested bc of this law. The law requires that the trans person be warned to leave the bathroom by a state official, and then if they stay they are guilty of trespassing after a warning.

So like, me, my gf, others just piss and nobody asks or tells, but this young woman sent a statement about the law to over 100 FL lawmakers so they would know she was coming, the cops were ready for her, she brought a reporter and went in anyway and spent the night in a men's jail. She is out on bail, and is hoping this will inspire change of the law. But if found guilty, and the law is upheld as constitutional, then she could spend up to 60 days in a mens county jail.

Seriously, this is extremely Rosa Parks coded. Good looking, religious college girl. It's the whole playbook. She also added this selfie.

I support her and hope this goes as well as it can.

Marcy Rheintgen is her name

Casual cruelty has become so ingrained in a lot of people because we live in a society that is structured in a cruel way. To be quite honest you are obligated to consider the harm of your words and actions no matter your personal hardships.

Oh wow so me saying "no government documentation should ever include a gender marker for any reason" has been right all along. For exactly the reason I stated when people were giving me shit for not supporting x markers on documents.

“kids spend too much time on their devices” well what else are they supposed to do? there’s no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. there’s no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and there’s no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just don’t understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people aren’t truly looking out for them.

Also the fact that shit is so expensive these days and getting a job is really fucking hard. And also that parents don't let their kids go out either, being so overprotective over them and not giving them the freedom to go out with their friends.

We've lost our community.

"If I don't vote then I don't have blood on my hands". Stop being a coward. Stop being a limp dick idiot. Get fucking real and stop complaining about a problem you fucking contributed to. Inaction IS action.

an imperfect ally is better than a perfect bystander

the old boomer who "doesn't get the gays" but still votes blue every election is still a better ally to you than every well-spoken, woke millennial who says all the right shit but didn't vote because they "didn't like either option"

the lady who voted for trump but has changed her mind since and is calling her senator every day is a better ally to you than anyone very politely apologizing for how awful things are and not doing anything to actually help
