oh!! sorry to have scared you with the phrasing of that part!

nothing 'happens' to him, at least not because of that. he's very lucky to have colleagues who won't use his kindness against him

ah well i definitely can't succinctly describe the complexities of each of their personalities here alone but i hope to achieve that over the long term in my writing and art! ("writing" here meaning comics)

i can say that while i think of the blu mercs as, on a surface level, similar enough to the red mercs that the red/blu class counterparts have about the same skills and basic outward traits that balance them as members of their teams, they are very much their own people with distinct backgrounds and experiences that have shaped their even more distinct identities.

so in reality they're all very different! something they come to realize about each other upon forming an alliance against the robots during the mann vs machine stretch of the war- and very quickly learning that their friends are nothing like their counterparts and the same treatments/assumptions can't be applied just because they look the same-ish.

it's probably easier in this case for me to talk about their personality traits in greater-than/less-than comparisons with the red mercs, so here's one for each of them (which i'll put under a readmore since this reply is already getting long!)

maybe it's me being too literal minded and not knowing how to take a joke but i think there are only so many times i can hear someone say about a character "i hate him so much" "i need him dead" etc. before i actually start to wonder if you really even like the character at all <- post that might be about ford pines but i'll leave it up to you
