At the 2025 World Championships, Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara skate to Paint it Black (SP) and Adios (FP), scoring 219.79 to claim their second Worlds title.
#riku miura#ryuichi kihara#worlds 2025#before i watched them i thought they massively screwed up the fs or something based on comments i saw#but it wasn't even that bad??#bunch of unfortunate minor mistakes but it didn't detract from the performance#which i think is the best they've had all season#i think they're the only team in the field who have the speed and skating skills to skate to fast driving music like this#i hope they can win a world medal with a clean fs one day though#winning with a clean fs > winning with a clean sp emotionally speaking#sorry if they are seen as overscored villains now. i still like them lmfao#i hope they keep experimenting with different programs#doesn't always work but it's better than julie marcotte choreo all the time
