the new way ur drawing elliot.. I'm OBSESSED he looks so CUTE. is the new style inspired by something?? it looks somewhat familiar so I was wondering
ahh, there were various inspirations and honestly im still not happy with how i draw him.
the way i draw him is inspired by emoticons, specifically smileys. i wanted to keep some level of recognition between him and the iconic but humorous pizza place emotes just using emojis as the icons. i also liked how in older animated smiley gifs, they seem so over the top and extreme for no reason which is how i want to push elliot's expressions
while trying to work his design, i did look at 2 particular artists to help since i was kind of entering style territory im not used to but i would like to continue pushing it with elliot.

at the moment, i still want to push how i draw his body as its still not silly enough for me. my style in general is stiff to say the least, i want him to be looser
With that ongoing war(? I don't know much about Dream Game) in the Dreamsphere, does Elliot get anxious at all about not hearing from Pasquele for too long?
yes, he does get anxious but he would like to remain as positive as he can about things.
when elliot is anxious, he does his best to simply assume pasquale is busy because hes high on the hierarchy in mafia.
the thing about it is that elliot is completely foreign to the dreamsphere and all that exists in frozen soul because he's not from that game / world, so pasquale tries to put a silver lining over his eyes about the full scale of the war. he doesnt want elliot to imagine the worst things happening to him like being blown to smithereens or being filled with lead.
he gets anxious, but he can get worse and pasquale would rather worry he's being overworked than potentially getting killed.
jaque is a florianfolk that disguises as a domicile grubfolk to catch people off guard / lower their guard in order to mug or kill them. he has little attachment to fellow florianfolk or normal florians and considers the mafia as his "tribe". he is hostile to other florian / florianfolk that are not part of mafia.. which means any and all of them as he appears to be the only florianfolk within mafia.
the rose that domicile grubs normally don is replaced with a fungus from lesmosyne which slightly gives away what he truly is. in that past he HAS attempted to steal a rose from a grub to complete his disguise though they unfortunately wither away.
despite his allegiance to mafia, he is a known trouble maker / problem starter, causing minor disputes as its just in his nature. due to this, he is hardly seen in the mafia hideout
Re garding ur latest ship post with elliot/pasquale (specifically the bit on the twitter qrt ["god"/faithful believer, big part of his small world / small part of a big world,]) my brain almost immediately came up w the phrase "studying u like a bug to worship u like a god" and i just think its kinda fun. Hope its good, or at least interesting to u!
its funny when you word it like that, to study him like a bug to worship him like a god.
i say its funny given it reminds me of somebody explaining eldritch horror in the sense of an ant seeing as a human does for a moment before being an ant again, and with echoes and remembrance of understanding where nothing else in this tiny world matters.
i think its fitting, for his situation.

since pasquale is no longer mafioso and you don’t want him called that, do you have a new ‘title’ in mind for him ? i recall you saying the mafia prefer their title names and his was mafioso, so….
you can still just call him pasquale even in asks or just commenting, thats fine. its in actual interaction between characters that he and mafia doesnt like to be called by his name.
his title has been underboss / underboss satriale.

I know u don't typically draw any other DG characters besides pasquale and euonia but is it possible you could draw stella stárková really recklessly driving a car with nashatra in it??? (she talks about reckless driving and risk taking a few times in props for sale and I find it funny)

the two songs you picked for august are so different it was surprising when I switched to the second song and it was so much like, calmer for lack of a better word
the first one reminds me of like.. if extreme psychedelics were music? and I think that's so fun; it was pretty jammy!! I think its something that matches him with how he acts (with what I've gathered so far)
I really like how the 2nd song sounds but I don't understand russian at all so I hope the translations of the lyrics I read were accurate... they're so cute and silly I really love their concept, I want more of them for sure :-)
