“Body configurations” - a series of works that fit a body into space or showing that everything is measured by the body, correlated with the body. Female bodies inscribed in urban space: steps, corners of buildings, parapets, sidewalks - evidence of either the dissolution of the body, or the grotesque image of a woman as an attribute, the woman as an exterior element, a decoration that has no more functions. This is the typical male gaze at the woman that the artist wittily showed.
In her manifesto she wrote: “…men create and control the social and communication media such as science and art, word and image, fashion and architecture, social transportation and division labor. Men have projected their image of woman onto these media, and in accordance with these medial patterns they gave shape to woman.” And women have no opportunity to speak, there is no access to these means of communication.
