"Doomed by the narrative" is sexy and all but i think the narrative wanting to save a character who is utterly set on dooming themselves isnt as much of a thing and it's so good as a concept

i was tagged by @antiadvil to share why i'd be banned from r/danandphil (best tag game ever tbh)

1. i've written 70 fics about them, 63 of those fics being canon compliant - RPF and speculating about dnp's relationship

2. i've chronicled every single one of their deleted 2009 tweets that the phandom has saved over on @10yearsofdnp and continue to post stuff that's been deleted (cough tabinof explanation video cough)

3. my #phan thoughts tag where i speculate about their relationship on a regular basis

4. i wrote a 29k fic from dan's mum's pov whoops that's RPF and speculating about their families!

5. to that extent, i regularly speculate about their family lives, especially dan's since it reminds me of my own family life and i process that through him 🙃

I’m watching Splash (1984) which is a romcom about a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and when she chooses a human name she chooses Madison and guy says “that’s not a real name, but alright” which seems to imply that Madison was not a name until at least the 80’s and all girls named Madison are actually named after the mermaid. thought you should know

when people are like ’oh no you don’t have a Cheese Knife / Tomato Knife how do you cook’ or whatever i’m always like well do you know what i do have. a big knife that cuts big stuff. and a small knife that cuts smaller stuff

#i just don't cook anything so the only knives i use are butter knives :)#dw this doesn't mean i order food all the time. i just use the microwave 90% of the time#though i did just get an air fryer so i'm hoping to use that more
