I have no particular stance on whether estrogen would have saved Shinji, but I'm looking at it from the family dynamic angle, and... well, Jesus Christ. On a good day, Shinji already looks like a teenage soft butch version of Yui Ikari – can you imagine how Gendo would react to his "son" slowly morphing into his dead wife?

The new weird Ghibli AI art trend shows that AI art has not evolved at all since its inception.
People who refuse to pick up a pencil are playing with a cool new toy and thinking it's the same as the process of creation.
They're playing with their Ghibli flavored toys and demand to be taken seriously for it.
Exactly, generative Ai is a plaything, it's nothing more than the most energy intensive toy the world has ever seen.
Also, even if the Ais evolved, the "art" wouldn't, because the vast majority of people who create Ai "art" don't even know the most bare bone basics about actual art, such as composition or which colors go well with each other.
Not to mention, they're some of the most boring and least creative people on the planet.
Oh, you generated another generic half robot cyberpunk girl that looks kind of bored towards the viewer?? Slow down DaVinci, leave some innovation for the rest of us. Also, it took these guys what? 3 years? to come up with the idea to include "Ghibli" in their prompts???
