Today is my first day with the stingrays! (being paid)

I’m nervous!!!!

It went fine! But I came home exhausted and with my feet absolutely aching. It’s way more standing than I’m used to so it’ll take a minute for me to get acclimated.

Reblog to let prev know their presence is wanted

so tired of having to cook and trying to figure out wtf to eat, can I just have like. Specialized human dog food or something, like some vegetable and protein biscuits and a special drink so that I only have to think about maybe cooking something once a day instead.

The people yearn for Star Trek nutrient cubes

> sees complaints that a female character looks "too masculine" or "like an ugly lesbian"

> ask if we got an actual butch character or if shes just a normal looking woman that isnt wearing make up and a dress

> person is visibly confused, i start explaining the difference between actual butch presentation and dress and a woman simply dressing comfortably to avoid indecent exposure

> person laughs and says "she straight up looks like a guy, i can barely tell her apart from the actual men"

> google the character

> shes just a normal looking woman that isnt wearing make up and a dress

Big shout out to all the aides and interns and others in Senator Booker's office who did the work compiling the letters from constituents, poems, and more, into the binders that he is currently reading from during his marathon. I don't know you but I see you.

I know the Senate Dems can't hold the floor/filibuster every single day, but I do think they should consider doing it once a week on a rotating schedule for which Senator feels like they got the energy to last at least 12 hours. Why not? It would be a good time to just air out the grievances of the people in their states and tell the pussy-ass bitch Senate Republicans they ain't shit.

back in my day, we got fun little games and jokes for april fool's. the lizard president race. coppy. crabs. the horse. boops, god, remember boops? now all they do is fuck up the ui. this used to be a website.

"The problem with cons is-"

Shut up

The problem with cons is everyone is filming each other, the problem is trying to use ppl for content, the problem is people don't talk to each other anymore, the problem is you're afraid of cringe the problem is there's no sense of community.

Ill give an example. A few years back I made my dabi ita bag for STXCC, and I bought a couple little 2 dollar mini buttons that said "fuck endeavor" on them. I pinned one to my bag and planned to give 1 to Dabi's va, I saved 3 to give as gifts. My friend at the time saw it as wasting money. One of the dabis I met, a really pretty fem dabi cosplayer, loved the gift, we bonded over ita bags and pins and dabi and she left to go to the vip line.

A few minutes later, this absolute baddie emerges from the crowd and takes my arm, pulling me out of the line, me being a complete bisexual I obviously follow her. She slides her vip wristband off and gives it to me, we hide my other one, her friend dressed as male toga whisks me to the vip line. I get to meet dabis va it was great. And it saved me like 2 hours of waiting.

That's community.

But azure you say, that costs money. Ok example 2.

Last year at the STXCC after party I went alone, I was shy and awkward and unsure if i would even have fun. I bumped into a pinkie pie who brought a bag of glitter to the party. She gave me a bracelet, we started throwing glitter and dancing with some jjk cosplayers and some furries, we kept pinkie pies ex away from her. I shared my pocky with them and a really sweet zoro cosplayer, goku black was rollerblading, there was a guy dressed as miku breakdancing and everyone was hyping each other up. Miku walked me to my ride in the dark.

That is community. It's not always easy it requires a little effort and a willingness to put yourself out there but fuck if it's not totally worth it when it works out.
