this problem is not exclusive to GK, it’s a pretty general atmosphere in all fandom spaces, if anything I’d say GK doesn’t have it too bad. I’ve stumbled upon a few people who severely needed to touch grass, but it’s pretty clear that they’re a minority,
unlike in something like FNAF where the number of sickos and weirdos (affectionately) is somehow smaller than the number of people who think a story about a guy nuking a bunch of kids (possibly featuring canon mpreg though I’m not sure about that one) shouldn’t explore any dark themes
also what you’re describing is insane, I hope people who feel the need to say that find better environments cause it must be hella tiring to constantly feel like you’re walking on a minefield rather than just enjoying the things you like
also you’ve said so many nice things to me so you know… if you’d like to make a drawing request I could make a little sketch… wink wink nudge nudge I appreciate when people say nice things to me on here

I mostly felt awkward because I knew some people who followed me here and were even leaving nice comments on my art were somewhat anti-leaning (I don’t like using these terms but idk how else to explain) so I might have gave them a false impression
I believe it’s people’s responsibility to curate their own online space and, honestly, don’t particularly care about making strangers surface level uncomfortable, but when I’m assuming someone already somewhat likes me it’s always a little sad to disappoint, even if I’m just being truthful
But don’t worry I’ll keep making and sharing my art, I enjoy both the process and the feedback and dopamine sure isn’t free these days!

thats all the info he has on him eveyrone else throughout the series Lt. is like "ah yes hijikata toshizo they all thought you died but i knew you were alive" "tanigaki you're looking for the man who killed your sister i can assist with that" But sugimoto? As far as Tsurumis information goes his far as 1. His father got TB. 2. Sugimoto burned down his home and left The only other sources of information is 1. Toraji who died and Ume who didnt know anything about Sugimoto once he left the village. Hes very much the wild card in Tsurumis plans
It’s also really funny how sugimoto is, let’s be honest, not the sharpest tool in the shed in a lot of ways and his intuition towards people’s intentions is hit or miss, but he took one look at tsurumi and called bullshit
I feel like he’s so painfully straightforward he’s kind of immune to manipulation? he listened to tsurumi spin his tale about how japanese soldiers have been wronged and how he’s gonna fix that by overthrowing the government and was like yeah man 👍 I only understood a third of what you said but sounds too good too be true. also what’s that about biting a candle are you talking about my d
also sugi had a good relationship with his parents which takes a 1000 from tsurumi’s charm
