On Twin Peaks Day, just thinking about how Laura's death creates this vacuum that leads to every other young female character stepping into one of the roles she's left open, usually with horrible consequences.
- Audrey tries to step into her role at One Eyed Jack's, inadvertently also nearly taking over the relationship Laura had with her father.
- Donna jumps into her doomed romances with James and Harold, brushes up against the supernatural via the Tremonds, and gets noticed by Bob.
