Help a fellow edgerunner out ♥️

Hello! I'm raising this money on behalf of one of my closest friends I met through the Cyberpunk 2077 fandom @medtech-mara (pictured is mine and her OC hanging out ♥️) Hit with a string of bad luck and one expense after another right after spending savings on moving to a new apartment, Mara (real name not used for privacy) and her family are three months behind in rent and facing eviction.

Mara and her husband have a wonderful little boy who is so bright and smart, and they deserve a little rest after this string of bad luck. From car troubles to benefits denials and delays, it's been one thing after another since finally getting their own place.

I was able to send them $400 today (3/3/25) to make a good faith payment, but we still need $900 for the rest of this month's rent. Here's the breakdown of what we're asking:

$900 for the rest of March's rent
$3,900 for the three months back rent
$1,300 for April's rent to give them a buffer to continue looking for work and applying for assistance.

It's April! Rent is due!

Their landlord accepted a partial payment but they're not out of the woods as April rent is due and they still have some back rent to pay. We are *so close* to the finish line and giving them some more room to breathe.
