Taking over Reddit!

if you didn’t know the Stranger things subreddit hates Bylers. Me and @megamhafan (they did the most lol) came up with a plan to take over. If you have Reddit, leave a lot of comments related to Will Byers or Byler. You can also post stuff about Byler but, It might get you banned or your post removed. But, it’s worth the risk. You might also want to be subtle with your posts, like how @megamhafan posted Byler fanart, but they put elmax and lumax fanart in front of it so it’s less obvious it’s about Byler.

as byler shippers, we shouldn’t be ok with the censorship of our favorite thing when we break rules rarely

either we make the active choice to post as much byler content as we can because they can’t remove us all, or we make it a point to call out the way that moderation treats people who have differing opinions from them.

everyone deserves to have their voices heard and that means us too.

if you’re not queer i don’t care about your opinions on byler/rovikie and stranger things in general.

you don’t understand what queer people go through, getting rejected doesn’t just bruise your ego it can ruin your life. stranger things has outwardly said that.

stranger things wasn’t made for cisallostraight white kids. it was made for weirdos, queer people, the kids who grew up being bullied. stop being mad that stranger things doesn’t cater to what you want.

there’s a reason robin is a lesbian, a reason mike tried to kill himself, a reason nancy got with steve over johnathan, a reason lucas was targeted for his race, a reason will liked a main character and not just a throwaway from california, there’s a reason mike and will have a deeper friendship than anyone else, reasons the show centers around the weird kids, and a reason it’s not made with the nuclear family in mind. this show never and will never portray anyone significant as being completely normal.

you can enjoy it, but please for the love of gods recognize that it wasn’t made with you in mind

i don’t know why i haven’t seen anyone bring this up in the theories about wills having powers, being a former test subject etc
