Crashing into some metal lids before finally landing on a car hood... then sliding down into the pavement while sirens wail a few blocks down.

She just lays there for a while, just until the police vehicles pass her by and she emerges out of the shadows 4 minutes afterwards. Her hair is mostly stained red for Ango's viewpoint, and her movement is sluggish like a drunkard.

Oh god…

Just walking out to the other side of the road, getting near actual law enforcement to avoid confrontation and sitting herself against the wall of the SDUP. For some reason she took cigarettes with her, which of course Miki lights up.

Looking straight at him through his window.

(He silently shakes his head.)

Happy wave!

There is a car coming though- so Miki just vanishes to crawl someplace else, only leaving the vehicle in sight. Which when someone steps out, they're not an officer at all, just holding a bat with a body bag(empty).

…(Grits his teeth. If she’s in danger, he’ll never get down there in time to help.)

Finally the man comes back out, but the bag is filled. Instead of taking it with, he starts to pour out his beer can and walks far away from the scene.

He comes back after 6 minutes exactly and drives away.

Miki waits another few minutes before waving for someone to come over, having to force her knife to make an opening.

Waving more frantically! Though she stops for a moment out of agony.

(Looks very concerned, waved back a tiny bit)

She just gives up after her 3rd round of waving, unable to see anyone even with the fire spreading from the trail the man made. She just lays there to wait since her body can't flee that seemlessly.

(He turns, deciding he’ll run down to her—

Oh, shit, his coworkers are in here!)

They're just as confused by the noises happening outside, taking a look down at the flames. Some of them are making calls and heading for the nearest bathrooms with a janitor bucket. The rest are, kind of looking af him.

I have to go—

["What is going on, Sakaguchi sir?"] They spoke in a skeptical sort of way, but genuinely curious.

There’s a civilian down there.

They give a small look between each other, but don't stay in Ango's way. They sort of separate in a formation for him, as some left to put out the fire until emergency responders arrive.

(He runs off.)

Miki just stays in the body bag, limper than a sack of potatoes. She sort of almost curls up from hearing the other agents, thinking Shiji's men were coming back around.

(Just trying to get down to her ASAP)

Thankfully the fire is only a few meters away at that point, but she hasn't moved a centimeter since hiding her hand again.

Come on, come on, not too much farther…

She finally begins to open her bag after hearing attempts to drown the flames. Just before Ango hears creaking as a power line collapses and starts falling towards him.

Oh shit— (Ducks and rolls out of the way)

"Nerd??" Peeking through the opening will have to do, her neck won't hold the weight of her skull. Someone else already got hold of the bag, watching Ango nearly get cornered by rubble.

Hold on! It’s too dangerous here, I’m getting you out—

"Nerd." Even if his voice is at regular level, she's still too chicken to talk out loud.

The bag is mostly weightless, even if the co-worker wasn't assisting Ango.

(a little concerned about that, but he can worry about it later. For now he has to focus.)

["Sir? Where do we put this?"]

Get her inside.

A light nod from the other agent before setting her in a holding cell, until they can get doctors in to treat her.

(Sits next to her) Do you want me to open this bag, or would you rather wait until a doctor arrives?

"Et's fucking stuffy..."

Okay then. (Opens the bag)

He's met face-to-face with what looks like what would be left behind in a murder scene.

"Better..."

(Sharp gasp at the sight of her) Who did this to you? Was this because of the fire?

"Whaht fire?"

There was a… outside…

"Back in Tokyo we burn stuff to get rid of trash 'n' avoid littering."

I see… who did this to you?

Miki doesn't speak at all, just looking at him and the only movement was her heart beat. It kind of made her eye look melted like his vision was distorting similar to a screen.

"..... Was them's going to burn me?"

I don’t know.

"... g-o away." Shuffling back under the cover of the body bag, just in time for paramedics to enter the room.

Thank you. Er… sorry in advance if she tries to hit you or bite you or anything, I honestly have no idea if she will or not. But she is injured.

"'M not a fucking dog!!!"

That is true, but I wouldn’t put it past you to protest if they tried to help you.

Doing exactly that because of what Ango said, but he's nudged out of the room.

…(Trying to see what’s happening, but he’s kinda pulled away by his coworkers)

They urge Ango to go back to his office to get it off his mind, and Miki is almost immediately silent-- not calm-- when she can't see him.

…(Looks back)

Staying upright, watching the monitors being set up and refusing to lay down despite getting pushed toward her back. Ango finally turns a corner, and most of the noise is too far to catch on.
