Similar to my previous rant about SOTR about fans making crazy ass fan theories that don't make sense since it's release

I'm going to make a list of my own theories that don't make sense because I'm feeling a little bit petty.

bro i saw someone say oh burdock followed covey tradition by naming her daughter primROSE and she was reaped to punish haymitch (a new version of the whole "she was reaped to punish katniss for hunting") can yall let prim BREATHE.

also everytime somone new gets credited for the revolution like no the revolution didnt suceed because of thresh sparing katniss cinna was not the lighter of the spark of rebellion and haymitch the gasoline and the bass the rock the mic the treble i like my coffee black just like my metal these are people who saw a chance after the whole berries incident no one saw katniss on the first day of the job and thought man shes the chose one

sotr left such a bitter taste in my mouth that i finally gave a chance to the tbosas movie, just for a change yknow, and i have to say, my biggest criticism is that the movie doesn't make clear enough how awful snow was (and pacing and some character choices for the other students). he had so many chances to do the right thing, he could choose to be good, but his lust for power won everytime. while not the biggest fan of the book, i could appreciate how SC made you hope snow would choose to be good even if you know how his story ends, and the movie just doesnt convey any of that. i remember thinking that my friend was crazy for thinking that lucy gray was the villain of the movie, and while i still think shes at least a bit crazy, i can see how the movie left her with the sense that snow was some victim of circumstance, or manipulated or something, when book readers know he was. just. an. asshole.

holy rambling im not sure what point i was supposed to be making anywho i liked the movie it was good as background noise for studying and rachel zegler's lucy gray made me want to pick up the guitar again.

the most suspension of disbelief for lenore dove's death ill allow is that snow expected anyone (not particularly haymitch) to find her dead in the forest with gumdrops in her hand. i know the whole 'oh haymitch fed them to her he inadvertently killed her' had that man gagged even he could not come up with that.

After the rules were announced, pairs immediately began to form. Strangers suddenly banded together, shooting off down the halls to find private spaces to share their suits. The woman in the flouncy blue dress suggested creating a large group, but there was a strangeness to her grin, a little too much enjoyment for a Hearts game.

I donโ€™t trust that woman.ย

Meanwhile, the man who carried himself like a Yakuza loan shark quickly selected his victim. He advanced on a mild mannered short man in a checked shirt and demanded to know what his suit was. It seemed like a stupid idea to me. Why intimidate someone when they could just lie and kill you? Yes, they might shy away from it out of fear of becoming everyoneโ€™s target, but was it worth the risk to your own life?ย 

Ippei suddenly turned to Chishiya. โ€˜Hey, letโ€™s tell each other.โ€™ย 

Chishiya folded his arms across his chest, nodding to the others still in the room. โ€˜If you want to survive, you need to observe everyone here very closely. You need to remember everyone who doesnโ€™t lie.โ€™ He paused. โ€˜Besides, I could be the Jack of Hearts myself.โ€™ย 

Ippei was clinging onto every word that came out of Chishiyaโ€™s mouth, as though he were a pillar of wisdom. I tried to suppress a smile.ย
