Reminding you that tomorrow is the beginning of International Pwoermd Writing Month, during which I challenge you to write at least one "one-word poem" (AKA pwoermd). I provide an example above. One I just wrote.

The Only Human Shadow is Me
Deciphering the Bladderwrack Language 16: Occasionally, when a dead colony of bladderwrack has been tossed by the intemperate sea onto the driest part of a beach, the colony dries into the shape of a magical beast. The precise process that engenders this transformation is unknown. Certainly, the drying of the wrack occurs because of its exposure to the sun and its expulsion from the hydrating ocean, but we cannot explain how it makes such beautiful and exact shapes. Many believe, however, these beasts have been formed as the last creation of the wrack, as a translation of the dying urge of the wrack to form the shape of a creature that appeared in its very last.
Deciphering the Bladderwrack Language 15: The interlinking of vines in a bladderwrack colony is both a means to support its health and a way to undergird the production of text within its realm. The various arms of the Bladderwrack reach out into the low-grade electricity of the sea to create the power needed to create text, and the multiple arms of the colony support the health of the colony and its text.
