tmras have always been abt the perpetuation of the patriarchy, and they willfully recognize that in order to do so deviance from the patriarchy has to be punished. that's just how it works. they think it's so woke and progressive because their version of the patriarchy happens to include trans men, but implicitly it still must punish women, especially trans women. the reason they want to subsume all trans suffering into transandrophobia is to create a theoretical lens, however false, that can be used to once again invisiblize the abuse of trans women for the sake of patriarchy, to affirm manhood as the ultimate. so a trans woman's suffering pretransition must always be viewed through the lens of manhood being the desired final state. womanhood is for the fools and the outsiders. it is also a direct inversion of transfeminism, which implicitly views the struggles of trans women through our entire lives, even if we never transition or come out, as the experiences of women under patriarchy. this view is powerful for us, it gives us understanding, agency, cohesion as a movement. those things being attained by one of the patriarchy's underclasses is a threat to the system, to the imagined greatness of manhood. thats why these men take transfeminism so personally, why anti transfeminists find it offensive when we wish for our sisters to transition. if we are to ever properly free ourselves from the patriarchy it will not be through the addition of a new kind of marginalized man gaining power, it will always be and has always been through the uplifting of women, especially those most brutalized by the patriarchy like trans women and woc
