hi, i'm miz! | 20+ | nerds out about fandoms but also about STS, math, and tech | they/he/she - ph | art: miz-draws

made me think of some of you <3

ID: tweet from maxxxine @yeehawrush "Many of you embraced being gay but seldom few of you embraced being queer and that's why you treat top and bottom like a gender binary" end ID.

Dudes healthcare is so fake. My ADHD meds are $940 without insurance. But they gave me a website of "coupons" which straight up looks like a scam website, and I got it today for $60! Just a coupon from a random website and it was $900 cheaper. America, I am confusion!! America explain!!

For all my uninsured judys out there it's for Walgreens only: walgreens.rxsense.com

as a pharmacy technician i can share with you some websites that give you those "coupons" for your meds!

goodrx is the most well known one, but if i'm trying to find the cheapest price for a patient i compare it to scriptcycle, and use whichever is offering the best price. you just type in the medication (PLEASE make sure you're getting the right drug, dosage, and quantity) and your zip code and they will spit out some offers for you

some pharmacies may have their own discount card to compare to as well!

if you are getting a name brand medication, you can also look at the manufacturer's website to see if they offer any evouchers for you to use too

good luck out there 👍

another one is singlecare.com, brought my duloxetine from $240 a month to $20

and there are coupons for hrt on there as well :) different options for different pharmacies

dollarfor.org saved my broke ass, it can save urs too

she can’t fathom being chosen. the enormity of her desire disgusts her because she shouldn’t feel this way. she doesn’t deserve to. she is her. she loves him so much that she chooses him over herself. (she can’t fathom being chosen.) she thought she was ready to let go but she isn’t. and she can’t fathom being chosen and she knows she shouldn’t and she knows she doesn’t deserve to but she can’t help but reach out for one last time. because he is the only thing that stayed real through it all. the only thing that was ever hers. she can’t fathom being chosen but here he is walking back towards her and taking her hand and here they are sprinting down the hallway caught in the rush of it all and she can’t remember why she even doubted for a second that he wouldn’t. (she can’t fathom being chosen.)

“see you at the equator” the equator is the imaginary line going around the planet, dividing the northern and eastern hemispheres of earth…. kind of like how the severance chip is placed in the middle of the left and right hemispheres of the brain… dividing sub consciousness and consciousness… the line between “innie” and “outie”is crumbling, specifically with helly and helena, dylan, irving, and burt… mark is reintegrating but both resist…. they will see each other at the equator

Cold Harbour made it so clear that Mark's primary character trait is LOVE! That is his strongest and clearest feeling and directive! It's his north star!!! The whole plot is driven by it - it informs everything he does!

Mark got a job with Lumon and became severed because he loved Gemma so much that he couldn't function without her. He had to create a version of him that didn't know her, had never loved her, just so he could get through every day.

Then iMark fell in love with Helly, because of course he did. His base personality is sweet and trusting - he wants to love people! Lumon makes it nearly impossible, but even in that sterile, authoritarian environment he STILL managed to love.

oMark cooked up all that corporate espionage stuff with Devon, started reintegrating and getting brain surgery in his basement, had a fucking stroke, all because of love. He went and broke into the testing floor and killed a man. All because he was so desperate to get Gemma back.

And so of course the crowning moment of iMark's characterization is a moment where he is revealed to truly be the same person as oMark, deep down - because he chooses love. It's what Mark does, in every situation, every time. He chooses love.

“does love transcend severance” case by case man i think it depends. but the ability, the potential for love transcends severance: mark is the same kind of lover as an innie and an outie. when he got into the elevator with gemma i was screaming at the screen for him to explain something—she’s about to meet his innie, he won’t remember her, he doesn’t know how it will all turn out. he knows that his innie is not exactly on his side right now! he might escape with gemma, but he might not!

and instead he chooses to live for the next ten seconds with the woman he loves. no wonder mark s does the same. both marks, faced with the prospect of losing the woman they love, just want a moment more with them.

helly showed up down the hallway because she wanted one last look at him. she wasn’t asking him to stay. she’s been the one trying to convince him leave.

helly said that maybe his outie wasn’t lying and that mark might have a real chance at living on the outside. helly reminded him she was an eagan when he said he wanted to live with her. helly convinced him to finish cold harbor when mark said he could just leave it undone and leave gemma trapped below.

she locked milchick in the bathroom and instigated an entire coup to give him time to save gemma.

all she wanted was one last look at the man who gave her life meaning.

so gemma was orpheus all along. when she looked back, called mark’s name, and asked him to come home.. innie mark realized he had no feelings for this woman. if she had stayed facing forward maybe the allegiance to his outie would have won out. but gemma turning around made him hesitate long enough for helly to appear. and when she called his name.. it was game over. eurydice embraced the underworld with open arms.
