OH YEAH NO, Sweet Briar had Frank addressing to the audience themself with "The script called for this." There was sarcasm in their tone, and he was clearly just reading off the script by the time he had to confess his love to Sweet Briar and such.

I'm gonna go on a bit of a tangent right now cause of how much this fandom LACKS common knowledge and proper brains. Specifically those who genuinely believe Julie and Frank are more than friends.

Not to say it isn't possible with Julie being Genderfluid, but to believe that they could possibly be canon is such a stretch.

It's the late 60's - early 70's, man. I don't know how people haven't grasped the fact that Frank and Julie would be more of a LAVENDER couple than a genuine couple. Being gay was frowned upon in later days, everybody knew that, so it wouldn't be such a surprise for Frank and Julie to be depicted as a couple.

It would keep the company safe and Frank safe in like, several circumstances... Not to say the Neighbourhood wouldn't allow it, but the media from way back when would have probably go off.

I don't understand how people lack the mind to properly understand these things, it's not hard to grasp with just a small look through history and common sense.

Frank and Eddie have more of a possibility behind closed doors, rather than completely out there. It's just the same argument of "A guy cannot stay friends with a girl" all over again.
