likes cats and television. kvetches a lot. also a part-time duck.

one of the most interesting Glinda-isms to me is that while Elphaba spends the latter years of her time in the narrative paranoid that someone else is controlling her and her loved ones and Glinda is adamant that Oh no one is controlling me I take full credit and responsibility for all my wrongdoing. My soul is in poor condition and I will wallow in every day ceaseless guilt. instead of any of this actioning me in any productive way

When my cat lays down in loaf position, is she leavened or unleavened? Is my cat kosher for Passover?

My experience tells me that catloaves do not wish to rise, which makes them unleavened and kosher.

The above-mentioned loaf:

If your cat is not made from one of the five grains, she cannot technically be leavened.  However, since it is clear that she can be made into something that resembles bread, it may be worth asking your local rabbi if she is kitteniot.

If your cat is made from the five grains, be careful about getting the cat wet, it could be purrbrochts.

the white-cheeked cotinga is a passerine bird native to the andes mountains in west-central peru, thriving in high-altitude woodland habitat. they have an oddly specific diet almost entirely consisting of mistletoe berries. their decreasing population is threatened by habitat destruction in much of their natural range, and as such are considered vulnerable by some conservation groups.

buck teasing eddie while they're on facetime and eddie goes "oh you love me" and buck says "WHAT noidon't. what are you talking about. did tommy tell you to say that? did MADDIE tell you to say that??you're straight. and this isn't even your house. and i, hate you." and then he hangs up

the swallow-tailed cotinga is a brightly colored south american bird named for their distinctive forked tail. both males and females are yellow and black, however, females are paler overall and lack the distinctive black ‘mask’ of the male. they are agile and fast in flight, and capable of navigating tight spaces when flying through dense forest. they prefer high-altitude forest habitat. little is known about their behavior and breeding patterns, and their population size is unclear.
