Movie Date Theory

I was talking to a friend today about the Picture Perfect Arc and had this theory… Idk what you guys will think but I wanted to share it anyway. 

What if the Hamster Space Wars movie date was Hanako’s way of getting Nene out of the school so they could formulate how to destroy Number 4′s yorishiro !!!??

BEFORE he realized he couldn’t destroy this world…

It’s always kinda confused me why they never brought it up again and I don’t know… what if it does fit? What if he was just playing along and biding his time because we know that’s what Hanako does. He wouldn’t want to alarm her. But when he realizes that this is the only place she can LIVE… idk I think it can make some sense. It’s just a theory.

RIGHT?!! I was saying this too! And you made a really good point also that he had the tickets from THE VERY BEGINNING even before he knew he couldn’t destroy this fake world! 😭

I was saying this with my friend that “The only thing that’s truly sad about this is once again he was using this cause he needed to get her out of the situation or help with it … just like the confession tree 😭” But at the same time… it’s different…

“In this instance he’s not using her she’s already there! Like he has to get her OUT! He’s trying to make sure nothing happens to her ! He’s not doing it for the date. 🥺”

But apart of him… I do feel like a part of him if this wasn’t this messed up situation would really have wanted that 😔 I do feel that. It’s just he had his guard on high alert in the beginning if he really was playing this out waiting for an opportunity. Until he changed his mind… sigh

At least AidaIro showed us the “what if” with that art 🥺❤️🍿 Their matching keychains too 😭!

I have recently come to the conclusion that Jerry Jewell is probably my favorite VA I have many MANY but I’d be lying to myself if I said this legend didn’t voice over half of my all time favorite characters ever. Like at this point I would die for all of them favorite characters (I am not gonna confirm or deny that I am now also in this deep with detective conan will just not) but like like look at this like:

And it’s actually true! I’m not saying this cause they are some characters I just like no no these are over half my tops 😭 AND THE TALENT - here we go Dana goes and gushes about dubs again

If I ever meet Jerry Jewell in person (wish one day🥺) one of the first things I’m gonna say to him was how it was a crime to the world that funimation stopped the dub for Kodocha, Detective Conan and Saiki K

Because it was a crime we were robbed of the sheer talent that was the voice of Akito (season 2 Kodocha), JIMMY! and Kaito kid (Detective Conan after only 150 something eps HERE COMES MY TEARS OF DEPRESSION AGAIN) and Saiki K(season 2 and on of Saiki K) A THEFT A CRIME WE WERE LEFT WITH ONLY PARTIAL WAY. 🤧

Another thing THEN Alex says to me (I would tag but I don’t know if Alex wants me to tag if you see this hi Alex 👋🏻😂) anyways

Then Alex says to me. What about Zero? And I’m like well he’s not voiced by Jerry BUT NOW IM LIKE IF I COULD DREAM. NOW THIS IS IN MY HEAD AND ITS RUINING ME🤧

Oh and then I was still going so I said:

Cause I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY DID THIS TO ME I FEEL SO PERSONALLY ATTACKED. TO JUST CUT ME OFF LIKE THIS

But then Audrey says you still have one of the movies #3 that Funnimation still dubbed! And I’m like AHHH THERE IS A GOD but then in the next breath but movie 7 had Jimmy and it’s not dubbed

HELLO DARKNESS YOU JUST CUTTING ME OFF RIGHT BEFORE - I’m fine im fine.

Anyway this is the end of my passionate ramble which I would like to remember myself so here we are.

#almost 500 eps in and now yea I can confirm I am in that deep with detective conan yup that’s we havent talked about that here yet#also yea now I have seen movie 3 that’s the end of the Jerry voicing Kaito I’ll get to hear#my suffering knows no limits#I still have m4-m6 so I’ll still hear Jimmy for a bit longer I’m making it last#detective conan#also ironically now I know Mamoru is Taichi Zero AND was in Detco not as Kaito but now Kaitos look alike in that new detective anime is#voiced my mamoru it’s a very very small world#well for fav vas
