Pretty sure that one of the character archetypes that's catnip to me are the heroic types who stayed alive wrong/are undead, are now experiencing body horror and/or identity horror and have changed a whole lot but there's still a spark of their original caring heart buried underneath if you know where to look.

Anyway. I'm normal over Grahf from XG, the Hero's Shade from TP and Lif from FEH. don't look at my blog.

nothing funnier to me than when AI does math wrong. like I get why it happens, it's a language model that's treating the numbers you feed it as words rather than integers and then giving you an answer based on how those words typically appear in a block of text instead of actually performing a calculation. but the one thing computers are genuinely incredible at. you fucked up a perfectly good calculator is what you did, look at it it's got hallucinations

Thinking again about how popular Wreck-it Ralph was by virtue of being like Toy Story for video games and referencing all manner of actual video games with actual video game cameos, how this had tremendous room to expand upon, how much money they might have made if the sequel with the internet element allowed Ralph to visit Minecraft or reference MMORPG's or just feature more Sonic the Hedgehog but Disney execs were genuinely out of touch enough to discourage that, turned the sequel into a giant commercial for themselves and killed Ralph as a franchise while their rivals went on to make sonic and mario movies that destroyed them at the box office every time

I wish people would understand that not everything is for everyone to get. you will be left out of some conversations, a lot of art will not apply to you, you will not like things that people you like enjoy, and just because you cannot add to the topic of discussion or relate does not mean that it is not valued or worthwhile. the internet has coddled people to such a concerning extent that everyone feels like they need to vocally disagree with something just because they don’t get it. Knowing something, and genuinely getting it are not the same. NOT EVERYTHING IS FOR YOUUUUU

girl who finally is going back to reading by finishing one book: now i'm going to read all the books in the world.

the fact that i’ve had mutuals on here for over like five and ten and even more years is actually wild like seeing each other grow up and change and start to heal and still be alive like. man look how far we’ve come. we did it guys

also like 80% of you transitioned which is beautiful

"if you ship this thing it's because you're too naïve to understand that it's toxic and that you wouldn't like a relationship like this" actually it's because I see one of them as a mentos drop and the other as a bottle of coke zero and I want to watch the mess they'll be together

Anonymous asked:

As someone who ships m/m, m/f and f/f I find het shippers are just as misogynistic to female characters they see as competition to their OTP as slash shippers are. Even femslash shippers will do this its just less common because the perceived competition is usually a male character (and hating a male character is of course feminist praxis). Like sure there is misogyny in slash fandom but no more so than any other fandom in my experience.

Die for our ship is alive and well everywhere, I'm afraid.
