REJOICE. kabuscortch 2.0.

realized i could only fit one extra set of arms on him since hes so. short. and i wouldnt wanna make him taller accidentally by adding any extra pectorals so he only gets + 2 arms...

his mandibles are also very mobile !! they probably arent very helpful unless hes in a battle but he can move them just as well as his jaw :)

also finally remembered to give him his burn scars this time smh

reblog to give your headache to elon musk instead

I’d just like to point out the growth in this post has mostly coincided with elon’s public spiral downward and I’d like to think we’re all a small part of that

bro can’t think because he’s just got a rager of a migraine 24/7

yes I would like to give elon musk my menstrual pain. I think he deserves it

Reblog to also give Elon Musk your menstrual pain.

Imagine you meet this really cool girl online and hit it off and then after a bit when you go to meet up in person she texts you "please don't be mad" and reveals she's actually a bug capable of accessing the internet with her mind. Is this an improvement? Workable? A dealbreaker?

It'd be such a rare thing, I think I'd have to at least try to make it work! I mean, there was a spark, right? It would depend on what kind of bug, though. I'm envisioning a beetle due to Kafkaesque reasons, but I have a phobia for wasps due to childhood trauma (Which I do not blame the wasps for, it was the neglect of grownups that caused this fear) so if she was a wasp that might be a problem.

Anyway, I'm asexual, so it's not like that'd be a deal-breaker in the relationship, and sharing my apartment would be a lot more doable if she's a small bug, too! She wouldn't need to eat as much as a human either, so that'd save money.

One thing I'm wondering though, can she also talk? She can access the internet with her mind, but if that, along with her fully developed thought similar to a human, is the extend of her special traits, it'd make communication more difficult. I'd have to grab my phone every time she wants to say something to me because the only way she can do so is to send me messages? That'd be very annoying, and then I'd have to get a data plan for when we're on the go... Plus I've just started trying to use my phone less! Hmm, what a conundrum...

Immediately after answering this ask I swatted away a fruit fly and for a brief moment my mind said "WHAT IF THAT'S HER!!"

how do you go on to drawing character interactions without them looking stiff or awkward?? whenever u draw characters like hugging and stuff they always feel so warm and natural n like they have weight!

Avatar

FIRST THINGS FIRST: if you want characters to feel like they have weight, they gotta have balance.

The second thing is to use references!! Use a mirror or photos when you can, but I often use duckduckgo and just google stock images. I don't use pinterest, but I suppose that works. I find it way more helpful to look at lots of images of the same pose at all different angles than to try to reference one specific image.

you will live to witness manmade horrors that are completely within your comprehension if you've paid any attention to a single piece of human history but are nevertheless still huge bummers

wow that is a super fair price damn
