so crazy that percival has canonically manhandled the crap out of mordred in hand to hand combat in medlit. like. idk do you think he pinned mordred down to the ground or smth. mordred quite literally had to beg for mercy and said that he'll do anything percival says like.....

i knew making a masterpost for mordred would be a lot of work but it's a lot more work than i'm expecting it to be. i'm not complaining though, bc researching and looking for obscure mordred media and talking about them is literally my favorite past time. it's enrichment for me. in my mentally ill brain there is mordred

also i'm wondering if i should tag my posts as #maydred or have a different tag for it, but idk it might be inconventient for people who only want to see the art/fic/whatever challenge which is why i was thinking of a different tag. maybe the maydred special or something. can you guys lmk what you think?

MAYDRED 2025: Long Live the Kingslayer!

Join me in celebrating our favorite traitor and ursurper, Sir Mordred in his BIGGEST birthday bash yet!

The concept is to celebrate Mordred and the different aspects of his character althroughout the stages of his life. His birth, youth and prime, his relationships with his kin, and his downfall at the battle at Camlann. The last prompt is a Free Day, so you have free reign to do whatever you want so long as it's about Mordred!

MAY 1-5 : The Son

Any iteration of Mordred is welcome! Whether it be your own personal interpretation of him from a project you're working on (which is highly encouraged!), depictions from medieval literature, fanwork for an existing Arthurian media such as films, TV, books, music, etc.
