* ruined my life don’t do it

there's just nothing that beats being at home. the world will try to convince me i should be doing more and it's like yeah but im at home

like if youre at home right now just take a minute to be like UGH yes im at home

You know, it’s Halloween. I guess everyone’s entitled to one good scare.

HALLOWEEN (1978) dir. John Carpenter

Part of getting older is realizing how absolutely insane it is that basically every form of media is constantly trying to convince us that the most interesting moments of the lived human experience are happening in HIGH SCHOOL…… girl who gives a flying fuck what 16 year olds are doing.

hate when streaming services are like.... you can now pay cinema prices to watch new releases at home! not to show my age but if i am watching it on my tv set then it's free??? you think you're an equal to big picturehouse? with no big screen? no big pop corn? you want to charge cinema price to show me a movey in my own house? Honour demands i kill you btw

of course movies are supposed to make you feel something it’s just that greta gerwig’s filmography manages to somehow specifically activate the exact state of my brain in seventh grade when i realized that my cishet girl peers were having life experiences that i could not ever be included in or understand because they were cishet girls and i wasn’t. sad!

the worst thing in the world is doing things. the second worst thing in the world is not doing things. how has no one ever come up with a solution for this
