james potter hcs:

  • had a huge crush on frank but frank was also his quidditch captain so also had beef with him (he'd always try to overtake the team/make them do plays he wanted, gave himself the role as assistant captain without telling frank, frank would say he can't play when he's injured & james would get pissed off)
  • sci fi nerd. loves ursula le k guin & star wars
  • liverpool james <333 the one muggle band he knows as a kid is the beatles & he lowk likes them. sirius & james have silly northerner/southerner beef. ppl either love or hate his accent.
  • his worst subject is potions & his friends make fun of hin for it with his dad being an accomplished potioneer
  • loverboy. his biggest & longest crush was lily but he's crushed on several ppl & always goes all out trying to woo them
  • has dimples.
  • remus has a diary & it inspired james to get one too but he mostly just doodles in it & writes quidditch strategies
  • refuses to not sit next to sirius in classes, meals, the train, whenever. if peter & remus sit next to him, he makes one of them move
  • has a very black & white way of thinking that he only rlly grows out of at the end of school, but it is still kinda there
  • lily introduced him to muggle sports & he got super into them
  • loves drawing & art & writing but is lowk shit at it. he's a stem boy at heart (especially biology)
  • was constantly told as a kid that he was perfect & could do no wrong & so he grows up fully believing that, expecting everyone to love him & cater to him
  • has two bits of hair that always stick up in a way that looks slightly like antlers
  • sirius let him ride his bike & he proceeded to immediately crash it, thinking it'd be just the same as a broomstick
  • his duelling style is aggressive rather than defensive & he's very in-your-face, quick, cocky, imaginative in his fighting style. also excels even more with a partner duelling beside/with him

i have just learned that sirius' bedroom at gp12 was on the fourth floor ?? imagine arguing with your mom and you have to walk up for flights of stairs to slam your door and fall on your bed
