#TECHNICALLY speaking it was the Little House on the Prairie books#I built a pipe cleaner and clay and cardboard box diorama/dollhouse to play with#when I was 6#I also owned prairie dresses and would do my hair in braids and wear sunbonnets#and that obsession lasted at least until I was 10#but on this list it was the phandom#it’s a little cringey to think about now but I met so many life long friends through that community that I have zero regrets#and it was a phandom beta reader who taught me how to use dialogue tags/action beats properly in my writing#and who cured me of my ‘6 semicolons on every page’ habit#so they were formative years in more ways than one
I went to the book store to pick up a copy of the Very Hungry Caterpillar for the kids I work with, but then this happened 👀. And you are to blame. Lol.
