I feel like she was like “oh he knows he’s cute I’m not gonna let him know that I know that 💀” (bc if we do recall she says to herself “they’re not real, there’s no such thing as cute ghosts’ like that’s a line that I feel like we always never talk about enough as a collective but anyways)

One thing I really like about Julie and the Phantoms that I keep forgetting about is that all three of the boys have their moments of being the Doofus (tm) in different situations. At the same time, each of the boys can and will be the Practical/Smart One at varying times.
It's so much nicer than the cliche "trio but one is the Dumb Comedic Relief and the other two are smarter" that they could have easily fallen into.
Especially that mooning Trevor Wilson scene they are all sharing one brain cell there 💀
Okay this might sound stupid but I was rewatching Julie and the phantoms and I really wanna know where the guys died. Like they’re sitting on a couch eating hot dogs. Where is this couch. Are they in some type of building or do they just have a couch out in the alleyway. I’m so confused and I really need to figure it out for a fic I’m writing. Pls help
I’ve always thought of it as a couch that’s in an alleyway, especially bc of all those posters behind them advertising stuff (plus Luke’s own missing person poster) leads me to believe it’s in an alleyway. Also bc in that scene you can hear the street around them kind of clearly they must be a couple feet away from the street.
Plus also it must be an alleyway bc a bystander must have been the one to call an ambulance for them bc they realized these guys were not 😳 doing the best most likely

When Nick comes he sees competition and gets all “well we can’t let that happen 😈” and purposely did stuff that Julie couldn’t avoid but making them seem like they were directed at Nick

i don’t think the jatp fandom as a whole discusses how comforting wake up as a song is
like
“wake up if it’s all you do” is exactly what ive needed to hear several times before (esp when i was going through an especially bad depressive episode)
Wake Up really do that. Especially the line,“It’s not what you’ve lost it’s what you’ve gained” gets me every time (along with the “wake up if it’s all you do” bc that is not said enough out loud)
If you go through a low point it can be so hard to get out of that, it feels hopeless and that everything is going wrong, things pile up and pile up. It’s hard to remember that it’s a temporary chapter even though it feels permanent. It feels like it won’t end.
When things work themselves out after time is given and you are able to reflect and look back on that low point, you didn’t lose time you spend during that rough time, you learned so much from growing through that experience, you did not lose from going through that experince you have gained from that experience, you have learned and continue to grow bc of that happening to you

Current obsession: Oooo umm… I love just being able to put on some true crime podcast/video and crochet my little heart out lately especially since I more have free time than I did last semester

Looking forward to: I have to write this 20-25 page short story for my advanced creative writing class that’s due in May and I’m really excited to finally get an idea that’s been in my brain for years finally out there :)

okay so what could the guys unfinished business be? Honestly I can't really think of anything other than playing the orpheum. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I feel like their unfinished business is either something that involves them together or something that each of them have to personally do in order to cross.
Reggie’s has to be something that involves his parents I feel like.
Perhaps Alex’s is along the same lines given their background that hear about.
Luke is the odd one because you would think making up with parents but then we like sort of see that by them being given Unsaid Emily and he’s still there so obviously that’s not what it is. I think it could deal with like “being a legend” thing he stated from the first episode.
I think in a unique way though too their unfinished business could change. Like perhaps Luke’s was making up with his parents but bc of Julie being in his life that’s changed.
No denying that Julie changed their afterlife which is why it’s hard to really think about what their unfinished business is bc that means they’d leave Julie.
Perhaps their unfinished business is just being the band they never could be thanks to Julie and bc they are constantly doing that they don’t cross over bc crossing over means they lose that chance to be the band they always dreamed of being which now they can be bc of Julie.
Maybe in the JATP universe you can choose to cross over and if you’re ready to. Does every ghost have something unfinished or did maybe like Caleb started that rumor to get people to come to his lil magic show BC imagine being a ghost and being like “:0 I’m still here bc I have unfinished business but I don’t know what it is I guess in the mean time I could go see some entertainment.”
Caleb is an entertainer through and through, guy would do ANYTHING to get more people to come his club (by getting a new band more people would come and see and be entertained which could be a reason he wants the boys so bad and he wants them so bad and lives for entertaining so much that he stoops to fricken MURDER in a method to get them to join him)
