I see Jey’s jealousy is coming thru when it comes to Roman and Naima. So now she’s a trick but when he first laid eyes on her, she wasn’t? 🙄 he’s just mad that Roman got her first. And wow, Princess sure made her presence known. It looks like she has Roman wrapped around her finger even after all these years. I wonder what he’s hiding that he hasn’t told Naima yet. Hey! So just cause I’m doing a fic about the characters being neighbours and it having dark themes doesn’t mean I’m trying to copy another persons work. Definitely some inspiration, I love tbnd it was an amazing read. Both @msbigredmachine and @harmshake deserve their flowers for that one. We writers are inspired by a variety of things and the beauty of creating is you can turn an existing idea into your own thing. TBND was literally based on the movie The Boy Next Door and other horror media that already exists. It wasn't a completely original idea but one that me and msbigredmachine made our own!

Writing a scene on Roman explaining wrestling slang to Naima and she’s confused af 🤣 “What the fuck is a kayfabe?🤨”
On the other hand, Naima is teaching him ‘stripper’ slang and he’s being completely unserious with it 😭
“Floor work is the tricks, transitions, and movements a dancer does on the floor instead of the pole.”
Roman smirks. “So what I saw you doin’ at Exotica that first night? All that slow, sexy shit…”
“That was floor work,” Naima confirms, holding back a smirk.
Roman’s eyes darken. “I like floor work.”
Naima chuckles, tossing a throw pillow at him. “I bet you do. Now focus.”
He leans forward. “Aight, tell me what tricks are.”
Naima raises an eyebrow. “Context matters, babe.”
Roman smirks. “I know what it means outside the club. What’s it mean inside?”
“Tricks are advanced pole moves. Anything requiring strength, control, and flexibility.”
He tilts his head. “So when you do that thing where you hang upside down with one leg hooked-”
She cuts him off before he can say something nasty. “That is a trick.”
Roman grins. “Again, I like tricks.”
This year build-up to WM 41 seems......... okay to me, personally. Last year set a high standard and it seems that HHH is struggling with consistency. What do you think of everything leading up to WM 41?
