President Snow watching the 75th Hunger Games and seeing Katniss (who does not want to look weak or out of control, especially in front of a fearsome victor like Finnick) certifiably loose it and turn into a shaking, tearful mess when Peeta's heart stops and restarts, proving that she loves Peeta "for realsies" because she cannot act and therefore, during the victory tour she wasn't poorly acting or "pretending" to be in love, no her love is genuine and she is just really bad in front of the cameras and therefore, his worries over the people not believing her to be truly in love and her becoming a living representation of his or the Capitol's weakness and so needing to kill her might have been a bit of an overreaction when really the media could have just changed how they approach the couple, leaking photos or dubbing them as "shy" or just focusing more on Peeta or just creating a narrative that he is the sunshine guy and she is the prickly gal or whatever is necessary to make them into the powerful pawns of the Capitol that they unfortunately could have become, but now he has sacrificed national favorites and Capitol allies into the Hunger Games, causing victors who were once safely working for the government, all be it begrudgingly, to openly dissent, while also actively angering even the people of the Capitol all because he couldn't read this autistic Appalachian teenager:
