SO I come up with a cool Meta Beetlejuice AU
so What if there is an AU where Beetlejuice and Lydia are actors and everyone else (including the people in neitherworld and Lydia's parents) are payed actors But hear me out with the characters "Actor!"Lydia is a nice actress from all over the world but deep down once the camera's are off she is depressed and sad since her life outside of acting is well Toxic Her parents are mean and toxic to her after when she's got payed they used up her money for everything. And ever since especially during rehersals she ends up in tears until "Actor" Beej comes in and comforts her (Beej in this is a washed up star that ended up being a breakout from this series) he in this deep down cares for everyone including Lydia (his and Lydia's dynamic is Parent and child in a way) and Beej in this is a prental figure to Lydia whenever things are going bad on her end. but as for Actor!Beej he's been doing the whole acting gig since his college years until one day the producer asked if he would want to be the star for a children's cartoon which he was thrilled to do he played the main lead role (which is Beetlejuice) after when first episode of the series concluded he was the talk of the town and was now a breakout star (He also lives in a mansion and also have wicked parties) but deep down he cared for his co-star Lydia and her mental being and wants to be there with her
