02: oc(s), supporting characters, and the confessional
also before i get into it, this idol au takes place in both japan and england! i have more knowledge on japanese idol groups than i do anything else so that’s one of the main reasons why it primarily takes place in japan.
and i talk a lot about japanese fashion….. if you haven’t heard of some of the styles i would love to clarify in a different post!
🩶 airi (the oc) 🥒
airi is a half japanese artist who got disowned by her family for pursuing a career in art. she was living in america, barely able to pay rent, when one of her clients, victor pays a visit to her apartment and offers her a job as the social media manager for the crown.
her actual name is airina but a lot of the crown calls her airi (or in some cases: air purifier and aerosol therapy).
her fashion sense/aesthetics is japanese alternative fashion with goth/punk lolita accents mixed in. she’s obsessed with vivienne westwood and she wears the alice horns all the time. i feel like she doesn’t wear skirts all that often though…

kate is apart of an idol group under the same management as the crown. she also lives in crown castle with airi and the others.
one of the concepts of the mc idol group is that the aesthetics of each member is based off of preexisting boy groups (a certain someone changes that rule though).
i feel like her aesthetics are very shoujo based and mori kei when she’s not working but when she is her outfits are very victorian based.

yes this is belle from ikemen prince…
and she’s a gyaru!!!
i think her primary style is himekaji which is more princessy outfits but she totally experiments with different styles. (yves makes clothes for her all the time)!!!
anyways she lives with the ikemen prince idol group (crashes out after a while because i would die if i had to deal with feuding brothers and other interesting characters that ikepri has)
♥️ the confessional 🥀
a year after the crown’s debut, an anonymous account pops up called the robin confessional. no one knows who’s behind the account but some fans speculate it’s one of the crown members themselves.
the most popular guesses being liam or it being an employee at the entertainment group that’s in close cohorts with victor.
almost everyone from the crown follows the confessional on their private accounts (liam follows it on his public account and comments often).
the information posted on the account has been scarily accurate, sometimes posting things that the idols themselves had never heard about and it being confirmed later by victor himself.
along with gossip, the confessional posts recaps to the idols’ livestreams for any fan that missed out!

for like the past two months i’ve been making an ikevil idol au (and making hesse judge it for me).
basically queen victoria is a boss of a talent agency (everyone calls her miss victoria). victor came up with a bright idea to make a idol group based off of fairytale villains. (he called it ‘the crown’ and the concepts were more victorian and gothic like ouji fashion)
omgg this is soo cool! I’ve thought abt it before as well! here’s kinda what I think their group concept would be:
this is exactly what i was thinking!! most of the roles i assign to them is based off of a japanese idol group called snow man (hirai’s obsessions crossing over…)
they have a youtube channel where they do normal things (like vlogging everyone’s day!) and random challenges.

let me give you the summarized version of it:
me and roger are dating (how??) and we get into an argument but before anything actually happens he says:
“i need space”
and walks off.
(“and that’s sad for me because i love being in people’s space :(“ - me at 6:35 am on a tuesday)
later that day, i go to a king gnu concert at a live house (the only part of the dream i wished was real).
but throughout the concert, all i was thinking about was roger (and not the guitar or the lyrics of the songs you love??? dream hirai is messed up) (please listen to king gnu)
so after the concert ended, i went back to my house which was a suburban mansion that i was living with the crown in (it had a ping pong table in the basement).
i went onto instagram and i put on my instagram notes: “i wish he would talk to me 💔💔💔’
(the emojis were not present 😔)
and someone responded (not the man himself) but a person i haven’t talked to since MIDDLE SCHOOL messaged me and said:
“she doesn’t want to talk to you.”
okay??? i wasn’t talking about this random person you’re bringing up. i just replied to her saying “im talking about something else not about her 😬”

after that, victor threw a house party in this suburban mansion and i stayed in the basement for some reason and i remember being very desperate while looking for roger…
(maybe check upstairs??)
i gave up after a little bit and i went to go get food. the man himself randomly appeared and said: “i’m ready to talk about it” and went into his room.
the end.
(there were two daiso trips in between but i don’t know how that fits into the timeline so 🤫)
i have weirder dreams but this one was the first time ikemen characters popped into it.
